It's really sad to grasp that after a year in Team Empire, Brat_OK leaves the team. About reasons of such decision and what caused it you can read below in statements of both sides.
We are grateful to Pavel foe his stunning streams, for maybe not so major but important wins, for his contribution in development of Empire.
Despite the fact that Brat_OK isn't part of team anymore, it doesn't mean we completely finished cooperation with him. It's quite possible that you'll see Pavel in our projects and on EmpireTV.

Statement from Aleksandr "StrangeR" Solomonov, team manager
After arrival of Brat_OK in our team, we at last found so long awaited stability in roster, that was a pretty big factor. Good atmosphere in the team, one goal, wins in clan leagues - all that gave players motivation. In the period of WoL, terrans had issues playing against zergs and it was really hard to estimate level of their skill, so we were tolerant about results our roster demonstrated. But now, it's HotS and everything changed.
It's not a secret that main reason of parting with Brat_OK is his unsatisfactory results. IEM Shanghai, ASUS ROG, WCS qualifications became the last straw. Yes, we are also guilty at some point, but in such cases, most of responsibility always lies with the player.
Pasha is probably most disciplined player I've ever worked with, furthermore - he's an excellent person. During our cooperation we have never had any issues.
In the near future he will face a difficult period. Brat_OK, first of all, should decide, where he is going, whether he is staying in e-Sport or not. I wish Pavel good luck in all his endeavors and will do everything to help him, hope that all of you will join me and support player during complicated period of team change.

Statement from Pavel "Brat_OK" Kuznecov
Sometimes, winning of online tournaments is not enough. And you won't get very far on your old achievements. Empire is a good team that gave me huge experience. It was pleasure to communicate with many of people in this organization, but nothing lasts forever, so I will look for a new team. Good luck to all of you!
Also noted in the post is that Aristeo, an inactive member of their roster, has decided to retire and move to the next stage of his life.
Those of you who have been around TeamLiquid a while will remember his particularly strong BW play, winning DreamHack and WCG as well as a third place finish in the first TSL.
