his last games were 2-0 vs MarineKing and 1-2 vs BBoongBBoong in the Asian Indoor games qualifiers but they were off stream so not 100% sure.

Looking good, probably could have powered back into code S if he stayed in Korea. However, not good enough to the point where I'd expect him to make another deep run in code S. Then again, MVP has won the gsl before when he didn't really look like he'd make the ro8. The guy just knows how to win.

It could be hard for him with the lag in this group, but I'd still consider him the favorite.

Expecting some heavy mech play from Mvp, people will most likely use and abuse the fact that Mvp is playing from Korea with high latency, against him. Hopefully Mvp has figured out really safe and solid builds to hold any possible weird all-in or micro intensive strat.

Mvp playing from Korea is probably going result in him being knocked out of this. The EU guys are already capable of taking games off him and the latency issue is significant.
