+ Show Spoiler +
You are to be present and available for the whole duration of the event, until knocked out of the bracket, both in person and logged in in-game chat channel BelleNoirTV! Leaving in the middle of the tournament for no reason will earn you a red card.
Check-in:
All participating players including possible substitutes are required to be logged into BelleNOiRtv chat channel on EU battle.net 30 minutes before tournament starts. (14:30 GMT (+00:00)) Failing to be present in the channel at tournament start time (15:00 GMT (+00:00) will count as a player not checking in and will not be able to play and his bracket spot will be awarded to the first available substitute.
Battle.net settings:
All players are required to uncheck the „only allow friends to send me invites“ and „only allow friends to send me chat messages“ check boxes in SC2 and have „set status to busy when in-game“ checked (options -> battle.net).
Race
Each player must play every match of the event as the race he stated in his tournament application
Replays
All replays must be saved
Observers
Only the staff members listed at the end of this document are allowed to observe a match. No other observers are permitted.
Pausing the game
If a player wants to pause a game, he needs to type "pp" into game chat and only pause once his opponent agrees. The pausing player must give a reason for the pause. Reasonable pauses are within the 5 minute limit mark. Longer pauses can be grounds for punishement, if reported.
Unpausing the game is done by asking "go?" and then doing a count-down from 3 to 1 and unpausing the game by the pausing player.
Match start:
For starting your match, browse the brackets to find out who your oponent is, then contact them in-game and Veto the maps according to our veto system below. Further maps are looser picked. Each map can be played only once in a match. Random players are required to post their race in the game chat before the game timer shows 00:30. Failing to do so is grounds for a red card.
Vetoing maps
Players take turns to veto maps. Player with the higher seed begins the veto. Each player can eliminate 1 map from the map pool in a Bo5, and 2 maps from the map pool in a Bo3. Those will be taken out of the map pool for the series. Then both players continue to veto to determine the final map, 2nd map and starting map to be played (5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st in the case of Bo5). Each map can be played only once in a match. An admin must be present in the chat with the players during the whole process if the match is to be streamed.
No-shows:
Waiting time after tournament starts is 15 minutes for the first round and then 10 minutes for each additional round. If your opponent is not present at this time, you are to inform the admin of the tourney to get a BYE.
Disconnects:
If any a player disconnects before game timer shows 5:00, there is an automatic rematch on the same map. If a disconnect occurs after this time, the disconnected player looses the map.
Cheating
If you suspect your opponent of cheating, you must inform the admin immediately and supply him with a replay of the game in question for analysis. We advise you to finish the said game so there is more to analyze. Complaints not issued immediately upon suspicion will not be looked upon!
Results:
You are to report the final result of EVERY game of a match to the admin of the tourney. Example: „Player A 1-0 Player B“ after first game of a match played.
Additional rules:
Excessive BM, hate talk or balance whine is NOT tolerated. If you are reported for BM, you may be punished.
If an admin contacts you to hold your next match on account of it being streamed, you are required to comply.
Players' main contacts are the tournament admin(s) in-game, should you have any questions or need directions. Questions regarding the tournament asked by the players in the stream chat will be ignored.
As punishment for any transgressions you can recieve a yellow card a red card or a black card. 2 yellow cards = 1 red card. A red card = immediate disqualification and a ban from the next tournament. Yellow and red cards stay in effect for the next tournament, and are erased afterwards. A black card means you will be banned from the event forever and stays in effect indefinetely.
Some examples: BMing an opponent, staff etc = yellow card. Failing to comply with admin directions = red card, leaving during the even without explenation = red card. Smurfing, cheating (of any kind) = black card.
All other cases not mentioned here are handled by the tournament admin. His decision is final and there is no appeal.
Failing to comply with admin’s directions results in an immediate red card.
