Original Statement
Empire.StrangeRLike i said earlier in my blog, in order to participate in upcoming leagues, Empire needed one more player. Despite the fact that currently there are quite a bit of players that are free agents, we decided to give one more chance to  Siw, who had already joined the team in 2011 and for personal reasons went inactive. Like last year showed, Siw has the motivation to train and as a result, results were produced. Among Siw's the latter achievements I note 3rd place in Zotac Cup November Finals and 1st place in Palit JetStream Cup #7 where Siw beat MVP.Tails, Acer|Bly, RoX.KIS.TITAN, and others. + Show Spoiler +I'm not going to translate it but he pretty much said that Beastyqt is still with team but the contract is almost up and Beastyqt wanted to see what other teams are offering. StrangeR said that he does not negotiate salary with players, thus already giving a Beastyqt an offer and just waiting for Beastyqt to accept it or decline it. He said that TheMista is most likely leaving the team, although it's uncertain but it will most likely happen. Also, Aristeo does not seem to play full time but it is not mentioned why. StrangeR hopes that HotS will spark players to play and then the future of Empire.SC2 will be decided.

Beastyqt has extended his contract with Empire!

Good for Siw, but I think there were better Protoss players out there like Welmu or Verdi.

I think that's because they are in good relationships, not that much due to skill.

same for siw, but not as extreme as verdi...
i agree with you that welmu would have been the better choice

well, apparently TheMista was kicked/left Empire, as he was about to quite eSports anyways, according to this report on a Russian website. He's still on the roster on Empire's website, but its probably more of an oversight. He hasn't posted anything SC2 related on his social media for quite some time.
With Aristeo being inactive, and Beastyqt shopping for offers, Empire needed to recruit.
