Saw this on /r/starcraft first but didn't see a post here yet. It looks like on the GOMtv's SC2 Ready Action! show, they will have KeSPA players playing against GSL players, possibly for the first time publicly. There isn't really any English info about this yet aside from the Reddit post, and I'm not sure if people outside of Korea can watch since it seems to be on the Korean GOMtv stream.

Korean announcement : [1] http://esports.gomtv.com/gsl/community/view.gom?msgid=32742
Korean SC2 Ready Action VODs: [2] http://ch.gomtv.com/list.gom?ch=4555&intpid=28119&type=3

Format:
Match 1 – KeSPA-based team player A vs E-sports federation or GSTL-based team player C
Match 2 – KeSPA-based team player B vs E-sports federation or GSTL-based team player D
Macth 3 – a winner of Match 1 vs a winner of Match 2

Every match consisted of BO3
Every player will be coming from different team.
a name of the player and team will be revealed on Match 3 but until then, it will be anonymous.

Map pool:
1st week: Entombed Valley, Ohana, Daybreak

I'm not sure this program provides streaming through Gomtv.net. But at least, residents of KR can watch KeSPA vs GSL action every Monday 6:00PM KST in July.

Just hoping that GomTV release the official announcement for English viewers.

Sounds cool. I think at this point only the top couple kespa players maybe able to compete with the GSL guys if at all. But it's cool to see nonetheless.

I love the mystery of it, sounds fun
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

I personally like how they are keeping the players and teams anonymous until the end. It should make things entertaining by building up the suspense on whether the elephant or the elephant hunter got take down. And with the KeSPA OSL qualifiers just around the corner in two weeks, they need all the SC2 practice they can get.

No offense...but this is putting an amateur team against a pro team. I understand that the BW pros are good and have grown exponentially amazing at this game, but still there is no way that any of the top code s players would lose.

It's like Korea Vs The World from last year (where Artosiswas the coach), except even 'The world' now is Korean.

You're wrong.

If you are High Masters/GM on the Korean server (all the BW pros are pretty much this), then you will be able to take games off Code S players regardless.

Considering many of them have reached GM level on Korea server, you don't seem to know what you are talking about.

The question is who is Gom gonna send, I think we all realize how bad TvZ is right now for pros so wouldn't it be an easy win to send in Symbol against the terrans... Seriously the scariest players besides Jaedong play Terran so for Symbol it would be an "easy" win. It would be a great game though. I think that if they put in Inori in a PvP it would be all but over for anyone he played. My point here is that Gom can easily win this but is that the point? If that is not the point, what would be the point of the showmatch?
