I had the idea for this comic cooking in my head for a few months, and the other day I decided to finally sit down and put it together. I figured I had nothing to lose and maybe an SC beta key to gain. Anyway, Blizzard responded about 3 hours after i submitted it to inform me that my comic did not make it. I'm not too bent up about it, though i do think it's funnier than the most recent winners' comics. Since I put the effort into making it, and since a grand total of two of my friends actually get this joke, I decided to share it with you fine people here at TeamLiquid. Perhaps some of you can post your failed attempts at the contest as well and we can all tell each other that our comics should've won or something.

I laughed more at the bro hug but the std burn punchline is pretty funny. Probably over the head of the average teenager. I like it better than a lot of the ones I've seen in past, but this does have a "mature" undertone.

Yeah, that's what actually stopped me from submitting it when i first thought of it. Then I saw some of the other winners had swear words in them, and one of the European winners had something to do with a hydralisk housewife unsatisfied with her husband's 'fucking zerg rush.' Honestly, i think the reason i didn't win is that it's kind of similar to one of the other winners, where a DT is excited after killing a zergling and says 'this calls for a dark templar chest bump.'

Haha. This is partly because I wanted to make fun of how often bros use the word 'bro.' and partly because i'm not near bros often enough to know what else they would've used instead.

I invited people to do so in this thread in the first post. I don't necessarily know if blizzard didn't find it funny. Maybe January's entries will be absolutely hilarious. I doubt that though.
