Everyone is talking about how young and hungry the German team is and like that should be a positive thing for them. I think the lack of experience due to all the young players is a big reason why this is looking as it does. They need players with more routine that can keep themselves together. Maybe they need Klose?

Italy has a backline defense and keeper all of them bar 1 guy plays for Juventus, the italian champions, all have played together for a whole season, gone undefeated. They got a true leader and talisman in Pirlo, an explosive Super Mario who looks like a man who wants to prove something and a returning Cassano who has always been one of the best players in Italy. Vs. a young promising German team that lacks experience and a leader. And a manager who is several tiers under Prandelli. Germany is very good considering the average age of the team Schweinsteiger is not a world class player, Andrea Pirlo is and he has been for many years, comparing them is silly.

The same thing happening here would be epic

Then maybe they should take him out? If playing on a bad ankle is affecting his game to the point where he is hurting his team, the coach should pull him -.-
