Just gonna mention the players that will miss the semifinal if they get another yellow (it's quite a list):
England: Gerrard, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cole, Walcott.
Italy: Buffon, Balzaretti, Bonucci, Chielli, Maggio, De Rossi, Montolivo, Motta, Balotelli.

I would be very surprised if neither of those would be missing in the semifinal. Can't imagine a peaceful game with so much at stake and Rooney and Balotelli playing.

Want England to win - Germany should do better against them, and my Fantasy Teams has too many english guys to lose! On the other hand, Italy getting through after a cardfest would probably be even better for us :D

The 22 previous meetings have produced nine wins for Italy, seven for England and six draws.
The Azzurri have the edge in recent history - they have lost just once against the Three Lions in 35 years (W6, D2, L1).

I think England have to step up their game big time, but if Steven Gerrard plays like he has played so far anything is possible! This will be a close one, I give the edge to Italy simply because I think they are more comfortable with the very likely extra time and possibly penalties.
