First time watching football under heavy flooding conditions? Apart from players risking injury, the ball will act like a brick anytime it lands. Passing and shooting is wildly affected and that is not possible to play in.

You're an idiot. With the pitch being that wet there's every likelihood of twisted ankles and slips that could easily do damage. On top of that the pitch being that shit completely ruins ball travel distances. Even if they were ok'ed to play it would be terrible

This is like playing football, with football boots and all, on ice. If they'd play it's pretty much a guarantee that every single player ends up severly injured.
