I passed the pub on my way to a friends house and my heart was warmed to see Day9 and Husky doing the preshow on the pub TVs. Its a shame it closes so early today but I'll definitely come in tomorrow and watch a few games.

I'm a french guy currently spending some time in London and having the opportunity to watch the semi-finals tomorrow with SC2 fans is truly an amazing surprise !

Nice place. Will defiantly be going to any future ones although have plans for this weekend. Its brilliant to be able to watch some SC with a large group plus beer, shame wont be able to see the final games tho

Are you going to do this at the next MLG? Were the bar you did it at happy with how it turned out? Because I only just read about this and I live in Brentford so I could have gone! I really hope you do another, could do one for IPL finals and NASL2 as well! :D

Hi, what's your experience with barcraft in Europe? My problem (aside from finding out how many people would attend and how to make it work in a music club in a smaller town) is the time difference. It's possible to watch MLG the next day in the afternoon from the new stream but I'm afraid of spoilers. Looking at your time schedule I guess it's ok not to stream the whole day but I'd like to make it as complete as possible...

Last night's Dreamhack Valencia barcraft was great fun. Loads of people came and it was a great day in general. At least a couple of new faces were there so they need to see this thread and also the Facebook page (posted by Kwark a few posts up).

Hi guys, Im an American student coming to London for a study abroad program (I'm from NYC). I'll be staying in London until late December and hopefully will be attending some barcrafts, but I also wanted to ask if any TL members that live in/around London want to come hang out and chill. Maybe you can point me to some "must go" places to eat or the best internet cafe around.

We will cover most of pool play on Saturday from the start of stream until midnight, and follow most of the double-elimination tournament on sunday from start of stream until 22:30.
The start time of the event will be 30 minutes before MLG starts the streams, we will update this page to let you know, but let's look at 15:00 as a safe bet.

The pub will liaise with a minicab company so everyone can get home safely, and might be able to help if you are looking for accommodation.

Please, only make a reservation if you are 100% sure you will be able to attend, as this requires some organisation on the part of both the pub and Londonbarcraft. If we don't reach 30 peeps by Friday, we won't be able to hold this finals-viewing event, but will still have had 2 days of awesome LondonBarcrafting behind us, so only reserve if you mean it lads!

I can't commit to a lock-in yet, I won't be able to find out till just before that weekend probably, but if you do get the go-ahead for the lock-in, will people who haven't reserved be able to stay?
If not, I probably won't be around on sunday, but will deffo be there for saturday, looking forward to it!

Standard pub food, but seemed reasonably high quality. Someone got fish and chips that smelt gorgeous. Not sure on price, but assume london pub prices, probs around £7-£10.

I literally cannot believe that it's at the Assembly House! I live about 5 minutes from there and go quite often! Too strange - I always sort of assumed barcraft would just be in America or further afield, I never thought Starcraft would ever get so close to home! (Also partly because for me SC is quite a foreign thing, i.e. I watch it on the computer being played in locations far away with people I'll never meet etc). Did not think that there would be a bunch of people watching it in the pub down the road!
Sadly I can't make this as I'm away at university, but hope it goes well!

Just got back from the barcraft. IT WAS DFUCKING AWESOME. I AM DRUNK AS DSHBIT!!!
I literally was not prepared for when i arrived with my fiance at 4pm today. I expected to be able tyo grab a table and wait for the people i jknew to arriver.
It was full to the brim with AQWESOME PEOPLE!!! I met qwuite a few new faces and people i'd previouslyu known on SC2. I had such a good time ands the event was awesome (despite klag with the wirelss trololol :D).
