Hello Edmontonians, and anyone looking for a Barcraft experience!
I've been working with the guys over at Rouge Lounge on an event to broadcast Starcraft live in the bar. And the result is that we will be holding a Barcraft event on Sunday August 28th for MLG Raleigh's Championship Sunday!
I am super excited and so are the guys down at Rouge. For the first time ever, they will be offering pizza by the slice, just for Barcraft Sunday! (BTW, the food at Rouge is phenomenal and they definitely have the best pizza in town IMO.) There will be hot bartenders, great drinks (plenty of beer for everyone), comfortable places to lounge, and a large tv to watch the drama unfold at MLG Raleigh on Championship Sunday.

-$8: includes entry
-$10: includes entry and an extra large slice of Rose Bowl's famous pizza (you pick which kind of pizza) or,
-$12: includes entry and a 1oz premium drink or beer
-$15: includes entry, an extra large slice of Rose Bowl's famous pizza (you pick which kind of pizza), and a 1oz premium drink or beer
That Sunday is 35 cent wing night, and Pizza by the Slice slices are $3.50. Don't forget there's also comfortable couches to enjoy the action on, hot bartenders, great food other than pizza if interested, and lots to drink.
This will be an excellent opportunity to meet like minded Starcrafters and develop an already growing SC2 community. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!

Just for information since I remember seeing a comment on NoodleCraft that the TL'er was happy they could go since it wasn't an 18+ location. Now the last time I went to the RoseBowl Pizza was in Grade 2 about 15 years ago. Is the Pizza side still family dinning?

Minors are welcome until 10PM! After that it will be 18+, so hopefully the closing ceremonies are finished by then.
Drink prices are $5.25 for a 1oz well hi-ball, and $5.75 for premium drinks, and up from there of course. Admission with pizza and a drink will be good for a 1oz premium hi-ball or beer.
The wings are amazing there, I just had the salt and pepper wings today; they were amazing. And its 35 cent wing night that Sunday!
Note that Edmonton NoodleCraft will be showing MLG Raleigh all weekend long, so if you want to start the party a tad early, drop by Oodle Noodle DownTown Saturday.

To add: We'll be open and showing matches starting at 11am, so you have 2 hours to sneak in and get some lunch before heading over to Rogue. Also don't forget to enter the draw!
There is an article in the Edmonton Journal about the Barcraft. Its nice to see that Starcraft and video games in general are becoming more mainstream.

Will there be another Barcraft for the next GSL finals?
Rose Bowl/Rouge Lounge won't have another Barcraft for the GSL finals, but will have the entire bar open to Starcraft fans for MLG Orlando on October 16! Save the date, and watch for more info!

Sweet! I'm there. And I'm bringing some friends of mine who aren't SC2 players or fans... yet.
Bumpity bump - anything in Edmonton for Providence? Gonna likely be in the old stomping grounds that weekend and wouldn't mind getting belligerently drunk watching people play videogames.
