Do I have to walk, or drive?
Is a unicycle preferred?
If you had to sleep in the same bed as another staff member who would it be and why?

I wanted to make a thread for written poetry about Starcraft. Being a smart poster I searched for poetry and found quiet a lot (Oh my), but most of it not concerning starcraft. These three were on topic, but this first one is a blog http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=156000 This one is only asking for opinion on it. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=183782 And this thread is from 2005 and is only for Broodwar http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=24241 And neither thread got a lot of attention. I really think there is a lot of potential on this topic, rhyming about current events or players or the game itself. So now to the question: Should I try my luck and open a new thread? Should I necro some old one with a new post, so that a day later it will be forgotten again? Is this just a bad idea and no one will take interest in this topic anyway so I should forget about it? Appetizer: + Show Spoiler + Polt talks to the mirror You call me noobie, you say it was luck? I've beaten LosirA, I truely don't suck, Going to the finals, just sit and watch, Who is my next victim.... Huk, Fuck.

When Kennigit said he was locking the thread until more info comes out, I didn't realize it would be a multi-day wait. It's a lot more complicated than meets the eye. I'm sure it will take some time. Oh why can't we all be friends?

Doesn't this also reduce the tax liability for the individuals in question (Like Nazgul et al.) since the corporate income tax % is >> the personal income tax %, especially when New York has a State income tax on top of the federal income tax? Since TL is clearly privately owned and not publicly traded are there any publicly releasable reasons why TL would not be incorporated as a NPO?

I always feel like my posting is terrible. A significant portion of TL posts in a suboptimal fashion, and I can't help but feel that I'm part of that group. However, making sure all my posts are final edits isn't too practical. So, my question to you esteemed gentlemen is this: What traits most define a good poster for you? Is it humor, insight, or something else?

So, my question to you esteemed gentlemen is this: What traits most define a good poster for you? Is it humor, insight, or something else? No need mods, I'm doing the scoring job for you ![]() After randomly sifting through fifty of Aeres' posts, and from seeing him on the forums for half a year, I come up with this: + Show Spoiler + Etiquette: 9.5/10 Punctuation, grammar, general communication in posts: 8.5 Following the Rules of Tl.net: 9.5/10 (From what I've seen) Contributing: 8.5/10 Polite? Mostly One Liners? About 10% Other: I have seen Aeres contribute throughout many different forums, and do so in many differerent fashions. Aeres follows the general guidelines of TL very well from what I've seen, and has very few slip-ups. I won't pretend to be a mod, but if I were mod, that is what I would write about you. That is my opinion, but I can't see your ban history/mod notes nor can I see your full blown "Everything you've ever done, ever" post history. I can't say how the mods feel about you though. Pretty goddamn good, but some slight improvements could be made. I think it's good that you're being hard on yourself and criticizing every post you make. You are one of the better forum goers out there, testified by the fact that (as far as I know) you haven't gotten banned, and have continuously contributed in a polite, constructive fashion. By critiquing what you do, you are striving to make every post the best it can possibly, and that's what gets a semi-veteran to become a prestiged (fuck you spell checker ![]()
