 Whatever conflicts u may feel inside, can create feelings of anguish or pain. Thats totally normal. Everyone experiences conflicts and wishes to be something they aren't ( I know u must be going through this on a much larger scale) But it's important that u teach urself to accept whatever u are, whether it be gay, straight or whatever. I hope you have someone u can talk to about this? Because u sound like a nice guy, and its a terrible thing to be going thru alone. I hope u find ur way! | ||

You are normal and perfect the way you are, regardless of your sexuality. Who you love is a wonderful thing that no one should ever be ashamed of. Try not to resist it, try not to be disgusted with yourself for being who you are, that is a path of fear, anger, depression and pain, a path that no one should have to go through. | ||

I saw your post earlier and tried to respond, but could not put it to words properly. Thankfully we have the Dr in the house who couldn't have said it better. I'd like to add that it may seem like an insurmountable problem but I promise once you finally do come to terms, it will feel like the world is off your shoulders. Your posting is an indication that you're already making progress and a step in the right direction. Once you've given it some thought, maybe you'd like to chat to someone on this forum or a friend you trust. Don't be worried about losing friends etc. That was my biggest issue, I was terrified that I'd have no friends. Turns out that I should not have worried, they were all like, whatever and some had an inkling already. And Mom's usually know already. | ||

FML I guess you can sometimes just need time to realize what things in your life aren't going away. Add that with the attitude that no one is correct over you on the subject of your sexuality. No one in the world has sovereignty over your feelings. Most who oppose the free feeling of others are within themselves very much at war and in self-hatred. | ||

FML I came to terms with being gay by realizing that what I liked sexually didn't define me as a person whatsoever. It's really a very minor aspect of my life now. I have a boyfriend and we live together and life is "normal" to us. It's no different than most straight couples that I know. Just realize that whomever you sleep with and date, it isn't a big deal. And it's no one's business but yours and those you want to involve in it. If there are people in your life that get "weird" about who you sleep with and who you date, get rid of them. Those people are the freaks for invading your private life, not you. That's what I did and I never looked back. Remember most importantly that being gay is normal. Animals are gay, humans have been gay since the earliest records of civilization. It's like being left-handed vs right-handed. It's just sex. My suggestion for your next step is finding some gay friends that you can confide in and talk to. Posting here was a good idea, as you're obviously a fan of gaming like the rest of us. Shouldn't be hard to make some new friends on TL! Just my 2 cents | ||
