Apart from having a good time and having a blast with fellow TL-members from around Europe (hopefully) and lots of starcraft. Check this shit yo.
First, where we are going to sleep. At the moment, we got nowt, but don't worry. There's some massive and cheap Hostels (It's newcastle, they're going to be dirt cheap) and when enough people say they're coming, we can book them in bulk and save so much money you'll note it down and tell your family when you get home. We're currently looking at Albatross Backpackers You have some choices for sleep times. I'm going to list them for you so if you don't know your options you know you're dumb.
Some planning fun: Friday: Friday is a cool day. For those travelling from London or around there, hit me up and we'll go up together, maybe stop for a manly lunch. For those of us who get to Newcastle of Friday, Kovu is going to find somewhere for us to have a Pre-LAN dinner meet. I hope that's ok by him. Saturday: Saturday we'll get to the LAN centre at 10ish and then stay there and play some Starcraft. If I got a BIO finals available, then we'll play one. We'll probably have a sweet BW tourney too and maybe some Poker stuff if people bring a set.. In the evening we'll go find somewhere to get drunk or do something fun. I dunno how, but we'll find a way. Sunday Same dealy as Saturday really. Will run an SC2 tournament and have more fun. If you are coming, you need to post right here in this thread and tell me what sleeping option you need and how many are coming. That all I had to say ![]() MONEY You guys are probably poor, I get it. This is what it'll cost ya: Event Entry: This will be £17 for the whole thing. If we get a lot of interest, this will probably drop. Accomodation: From what I've seen, no more that £16 a night. Food: Newcastle is pretty dirty. You can get a kebab for like, £2. Travel: I dunno, find out yourself. If you show up without the entry fee or whatever, I won't let you in. I don't give a shit, no freeloaders. Travel Firstly I hope you are all aware of thise: EVERYONE FROM ANYWHERE IS WELCOME. I've asked the LAN guys and they don't seem to care how many come (there's 42 PCs so would like to get at least that many) so if you're from the UK, or from New Zealand, you can come. (Even Germans are allowed). From the UK Get a train or some shit. You're an Adult, you should be able to manage it. Don't be lazy. From Abroard Newcastle has an Airport so you can fly there. If it's expensive or whatnot, check other nearby airports and consider flying to one of them then getting a train or something after. The Airport generally have really good links. From Train Station to Centre/Hostel HOLY SHIT MAP. ![]() You guys can arrange times to meet at the station and someone can come get you. Confirmed so far: kovutalli +1 Slix ComusLoM Woyn +1 houck Solo_Xero AdrenalGBR + Show Spoiler + Option 1 People flicky Option 2 People Gridlock Gurd Option 3 People Jamie (stolensheep) Option 4 People Kovutalli ComusLoM exKid Tentative Pholon Gruv PaddyPower epjx31 (opt 3) Vilda Panoptic+1 D-Lite love.less This CAN and WILL be updated, watch this space. And I'll be there too! XD We'll probably be at that station Friday with a sign with TL TEAMLIQUID on it for those who may get lost we'll arrange times closer to when we know what everyones travel arrangements are - For those flying to the airport you can get the metro from the airport to the train station. DIRECTIONS Directions (To go with the map) As the map shows exit the station and cross the road, you'll see a Subway Cross to that side of the road and follow the path left to the end of the street. At the end turn right, Follow this till you come to a cross roads, turn left. Follow this till you come to a T Junction (you should see a sign for CROSS STREET on the wall) Turn right and stay on the right hand path becareful as the Door is small (See picture) ![]() Also - LOL at the street sweeper. Go in the Door and up the Stairs, its the first Door you'll come to come on in and Join the fun! You can buy Food and drink on site and consume it - They sell Cans/bottles for soft drinks and such, water and coffee machine too I think. Far as food on site goes, They sell noodles/ramen and snacks such as Chocolate bars, etc. Offsite there are a ton of places, theres a burger king and other such places nearby its the middle of a City so tons of places to choose from.

EDIT: oh by the way my flight would be arriving on saturday morning cuz i cant leave work early enough on friday to make it to the airport in time ![]() At the moment it looks like 11, but maybe a few more depending on those still tentative or some who may not know about the thread yet. Also I wouldnt mind if a few ppl came in off the street (ones who'd usually be going to the lan center anyway) but ofc they have to pay too. What needs to be brought: Money, Authenticator - If you have one, money, yourself, spare change of clothes or two if you wish. Thats all I can really think of. Thats fine, you'd need to get the metro from the airport to central station and if you want someone could meet you at central station. As far as accom goes, I've just left it up to people to decide on their own, or they can try and see if they can book at the Hostel we've listed. I may give them a call to see how many rooms they have free.

Im sure MPUK i40 should be good but be nice to see more of a UK SC2 scene. Good to see another UK event. Hope it goes well. I am thinking of organizing a starcraft event (possibly regular) in the south of UK, I wondered what intrest there would be. Pm me if you are intrested please as I dont mean to hijack the thread. The top 5 or so for UK, (in no order after DeMu) as far as I know are DeMusliM, rANDY, Meepy, Ourk and Scyk (gone inactive apparantly, but this is based on what rANDY said). I know there are plenty other good players too. No disrespect to Apollo, but he's not performed well in SC2 so far and isn't as good as these 5.

Will the payments be in relation to their normal rates or a proportion of the total cost of booking the place? EDIT: Did you actually book the whole place? As stated, the cost for anyone attenting will be 17 pounds for the whole weekend. Thats what people are turning up and expecting to pay, and thats what they will pay which is only fair.
