EPTOh well, the dazzle looked pretty new, and was apologetic about screwing up so I gave him some tips about positioning as a support (his dotabuff shows his average deaths per game is like 13). But fuck least played mode, so much variance in skill level there.

I read the patch notes thread (because one wasn't up here) for like five minutes and it was mostly people going "hurr hurr so tryhard now" like bro. This time we have a safelane carry and a carry mid and some asshole decides to pick Razor and mark offlane with it. And I'm like, uh, hey bro, do you expect to farm in my lane? So instead of saying anything (after AFK in fountain for basically the entire pre-horn phase instead of helping with runes) he starts sullking off to the safelane (where there is a carry with farm priority). The guy who was going to support safelane goes hey guy, why are you going top. BECAUSE PUGNA WANTS TO SOLO OFFLANE (didn't say that. Not sure why this is complicated). But of course there is no good fucking answer to this because you picked a goddamned farm-heavy non-jungling core into three non-jungling cores. Other than me just going support for your dumb ass which honestly sucks balls and loses almost every time (I'm sure related to the fact that I have teammates so dumb they can't read chat or pick a support when it's called for). Thankfully, Poor Network Conditions were detected. Some times I think if I just wait I will have better teammates at my MMR because the new pick system is going to punish players who don't know how to coordinate with their teams, players who are used to panicked repicking by their teammates when it's obvious what has happened won't work. I sure hope that starts happening, anyway. | ||
