I want Maru vs Solar in semi, it's always entertaining Rogue/Dark and Maru should be finalists or another Trap-Zoun final ? Nice bracket anyway should be fun to watch

Wouldn't be surprised to see Trap win a fourth super tournament in a row. Classic has a good chance to win, I would not be surprised in near future that Classic takes world best Protoss away from Trap.

How are his wrists? maru always been bad at tvp losing to zoun and harstem recently Maru lost to Harstem while playing on the EU server; I wouldn't read too much into that. Based on his performance against Zest last season, I think Classic will be well prepared, but I'm dubious he's ready to take on Maru. Bracket looks pretty decent overall, though I imagine Creator and Keen aren't thrilled.

Overall the bracket on both sides are fairly balanced (left slightly more stacked with Trap, Dark and Rogue). But ST is just for full of anti-hype surprises...

If we look back to PvProleague times, after Jjackji forfeited his code S slot. There were 3 Terrans in in the round of 32 of GSL. 1 Terran in round of 16. Maru had his great winrate both in GSL and in Proleague partially off of great TvP. That point in Korean StarCraft cemented Maru's moniker "The Last Terran". He was repeatedly the only terran left in ro8 and sometimes in the ro16. Maru and his maru-ders were protoss killers. Were everybody else made vikings to counter colossus, Maru used micro and marauder+medivac. Maru did better than most everyone for a long time. There were a lot of words and phrases invented to describe Maru's TvP. Maru-ders is just one of those. Maru has been playing since GSL1 back in 2010. "Always" is a long time for Maru. From that first GSL there are only 3(4) players still relevant: Maru, ByuN, TLO (and Artosis). This is Maru's 12th year as a SC2 pro. If you only take games between now and 2016 into consideration you'll miss more than half of his career. Are you sure you meant "always" when talking about the bane of protoss, the Last Terran?

Yes he used the word "always" but I highly doubt that poster is referring to Maru's games from 2013.
