After six match-days and thirty-six group stage bouts, the War Chest Team League is ready to move on to the playoffs! Casters/team captains feardragon, ZombieGrub, and CatZ saw their teams fail to make the post-season cut, and we now move on to the single-elimination playoffs with the remaining six teams.
The playoffs are set to take place on Sunday, Aug 16 10:00am GMT (GMT+00:00), with all five playoff matches being played on the same day. The winning team will split a $12,800 first place prize, alongside the bonuses earned per victory during the group stage (full prize breakdown on Liquipedia).

They will be revealed, it's still not all-kill.
Aiming for Saturday evening/night EU time to be able to give the go ahead to get them on Liquipedia.
For the semis, after a semi-final has 2 teams in it (so after a RO6 match finishes) they have ~30 mins to set their lineups while the next match in schedule plays.
For finals, we will probably do ~15 minutes to set rosters plus ~15 minutes filler to give players a little more prep time as well one line-ups are revealed.
I would also like new team league with players that are the same caliber as in this league, but it would probably need to be announced a year beforehand or so, that organizations could try to form actually good teams for it.

On the other hand, both No brain No Pain and The Tank Toppers will reach the ace matches where there will be a potential of Reynor vs Maru/SoS match.

Indeed, this is a very good draft for war pig. But not for no pain no brain (the second carry got supernova...) it should end with a ace match.
I am a Tank Topper Fan and was so happy that they made it through in the end. It was relieving at the end to see feardragon and his team lose.
I am SO happy for Rifkin and his team. His quake firstblood announcement was one of the best laughs I have had in a while. He tries to integrate other community members like the player announcement raps, some like it some dont, you wont get the sweetspot anyway, so it's great, just don't hate. Don't get distracted by the loud minority.
Despite the fact there is room for improvement in his casts, he is so invested into making the experience different and COOL. If you read this, Rifkin, then pls dont scream that much anymore. It's not as much fun to listen to as you think . Other than that, gj, I hope you have more possibilities after that tournament.

This is a decent draft for War Pigs, but not the best case scenario imo. Sending Lambo against Serral is probably good for Ambulance. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to the ace match.

Well the worst were Neeb and SouL, both with a 0-8 score and then Supernova and Drogo, both with a 1-8 score respectivly. Then it d be Armani (2-7) and SortOf (2-6)
If there is another season of this next year, I hope they do a little more to show the players. Maybe show a photoshopped team photo of the players, or have the players record a brief interview to play before the playoff games.

Agree 100%. Even maybe have a live interview with the team after victories in the playoffs. I know translators aren't free so it's probably a pipe dream.

Not sure if he's put in additional practice for WCTL, but Maru mentioned on his stream that he's limited to playing 5 games a day, so yeah it's pretty bad.
