Well, ok race distripution, allthough basically every protoss made it though already from day1 qualifier so it forced the race distripution to be more balanced after day2.

Let´s see how ro32 goes, can`t wait. Gl hf!

Losira failed to qualify right after securing his NesTea Award. Shows that this still means something.

Little sad that Bunny did not qualify. i was curious if he could uphold his strong Ro8 performance last season. i guess the answer is no.

Maru missed a season of Code S in 2016 because he played Zest in Code A.

Also Dark was in his 10th consecutive Ro16 last season matching the PartinG award.

Well turn out I can't count at all lol.
I still think I'm right for the 16 code S for both Dark and Solar (if not it's totally liquipedia fault )
I would guess these two have the most in row?

Maru missed a season of Code S in 2016 because he played Zest in Code A.

If not for that being possibly the worst bracket luck of all time, he would have had 17 consecutive Code S at this point. And he likely would have kept going until GSL got cancelled.
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

A surely impressive feat when every active player makes Code S every season.

It's more like a sponsorship. But it seems to be quite helpful since all three players (DRG, Keen and alive) made it into Code S.
Furthermore, I consider that some kind of Code A must be reestablished.

If Liquipedia is correct, congratulations to alive and TY for secureing their Nestea awards :D
Also Maru, Gumiho, sOs and Stats need only one more season.

Also interesting that Gumiho is the one with the most GSL Qualifications overall with 21 now.
I like statistics.

RIP Losira. People talked about soO like he had a tragic story (ignore the scads of cash he made along the way), but players like Losira are a lot more impressive in their diligence. Consistently one of the top 32 to players but rarely one of the top 16 (only twice) yet he just kept grinding.

I really wonder how much Losira plays the game anymore. He's usually just good enough to make Code S but get eliminated in the Ro32 as one of the weaker players and he plays about as many online cups as Maru without that kind of financial backing from tournament winnings. Didn't try sign up for Super Tournament either.

Yeah... it seems there are only about 40-50 who compete in those qualifiers. The Korean scene is even smaller than I thougt :/ in the rest of the world you at least have some rising stars or semiprofessional players

Main disappointment is that there is no Fantasy. But Special and Scarlett have me hyped.

EDIT: FanTasy did make it.

Great lineup.

Would like NoRegreT to get in this year.
