They have the same number of wins, Stephano has 4 premiers (IGN PL, ESWC, NASL and WCS EU) and 2 "real" major (Lone Star Clash 1 and 2) and Neeb also has 4 premier (3 WCS and a Kespa cup) a 2 major (Cheesadelphia and Hangzhou festival). The second-3rd-4th place are pretty similar, I would give the edge to Neeb personally since he was at the top of the foreign scene for longer (aka lost less vs foreigner) but Stephano won more tournament with korean in it, even if it was sometime B tier korean. Pretty sure Neeb has more money tho.

I've loved sc2 for so many years and if anyone would have told me after proleague was shut down that the Starcraft scene would get even better I would never have believed it. I cried when TY proxied Classic to take the proleague gold for KT, when Byun som and when Maru took his third consecutive gsl but this tournaments tops them all. Not only did soO win, he did it in the most amazing way ever, almost getting knocked out of groups, taking Serral down AND clawing himself back Up from being 0-2 down. Seriously, I'll never forget this.

Kinda cool that Serral lost as well, some of his fans were obnoxious (not all thankfully) so they will probably chill a bit Disappointed by foreigners performance, I feel like they can perform better :/ User was temp banned for this post.

and now i am sitting here, 36 years old, having seen my children been born and some loved ones go forever and still having a little bit of water in the edges of my eyes after a final of a videogame. i often ask myself, why i keep watching this game, with all the people who seem to care more about memes than good play, or with finding even the most pathetic arguments why their favorite player is better than someone else favorite player. i keep on thinking, maybe its just not for me anymore. but then a player like soO reminds me what makes all this great for me. uniting pretty much everybody in happines for a single person, no matter who they prefere on any other day. even if he obviously will never ever read this here, but my sincere thanks to soO for never giving up and keep on trying and by that giving me the single best moment i have ever witnessed in all of starcraft. you've always been a champion of hearts, now you are champion in every way

soO, I've watched sc2 for almost 9 years and I've never really liked you as a player for some reason. Preferring people like Parting, MC, sOs, Maru, and Rogue. But last weekend changed everything. You are the fucking man. And my new favourite player. Whenever I feel down and feel like giving up in the future, I will think of that grand final match of IEM Katowice 2019 soO vs Stats, and I will try my best to channel my inner soO. Never give up, never surrender.

This guy is a absolute fucking inspirational legend. 12 years of starcraft, 11 grand finals lost, and he finally manage to win one of the biggest championship ever against some of the best players the game has ever produced. When he was down 0-2 against Stats, I was thinking "OMG the curse is happening again, he's going to get smoked again in another finals". If it was me, my mental would be so broken at that point, but somehow soO managed to overcome this, and proceeded to play absolutely out of his mind. I've never seen something like that, it's like he just said fuck it all, and went into super saiyan mode and smashed the next 4 games out of the park. soO, I've watched sc2 for almost 9 years and I've never really liked you as a player for some reason. I hate that Serral had to go down but at least he put up a valiant fight, and soO got his rightful place as a champion after all these years.
