Twitch chat is going to explode, people can't grasp the immense complexity of a best of 2. Is the ace match a bo1 or boX? I doubt it's another bo2.
|

A Chinese player (including players from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) must be included in each match's lineup.
Does this mean that each team must have a chinese player in their lineup or that there needs to be one in at least one of the two teams ?
No offense intended for the chinese players but in the first case, that would mean JAGW is considerably weakened having to push "Rex" (only "chinese" player in their team) in their lineup for every match, leaving only 2 spots for either Maru, Rogue, Trap, Cure, sOs & Creator.
|
China saving esports as always
|
How are the maps picked? Are they all preset like they were in Proleague, or is the second map picked by the loser of the first, or something else?
|
This is great! Easy money for JinAir I guess...

Will definitely tune in to this. Hopefully the first season will be a success and next one will be even better!
|
JAGW will probably not take it too seriously until the playoffs, and just use the team league so Creator/Cure have something to do when they're out of GSL.

This is really really cool. A new team league, a push forward for Chinese starcraft. Hype AF.
I don't suppose this means Rex will be moving into the team house?

Hey guys, just to explain where we are right now: We have a new player ready to announce. I've sent the request in to the CN Proleague organizers to swap him in, so hopefully we'll have our "true" lineup posted in the next 24 hours or so.

Same. I expect some people might think this strange. But to be fair the Chinese are putting money and effort into it so its not too much of an ask that they want to grow their scene and increase the exposure of their players.
The only thing im upset about is no Splyce. would have loved a Splyce vs JinAir

According to the organizer xiaose, Bistork is banned permanently from any tournament or event they organize. His spot in psistorm will be replaced by TATP, a protoss player.

Yep, TATP will be replacing him for us. He's changing his name to Sakura as well, since he feels like TATP is annoying for foreign fans to pronounce

This looks sick, I just wish there was a team that could challenge jin Air, they are soooo stacked.

My bet would be on Newbee and TSG, but Jin Air's biggest strength is the sheer amount of depth they have. They can just field Creator or Cure, and leave the big guns for Newbee and TSG.

lol, his ID is an emoji. TAT as a crying face, essentialy means a crying protoss player.

Well, the rule that a chinese player has to play in every match makes it quite a bit more interesting. Rex is beatable for almost everybody in these teams. Thus "only" one of the Koreans of JinAir has to be taken care of.
This will be a great stage for Rex, Time, Firefly, Sakura and Silky because they will play every week in high calibre matches. Great concept to feature the perfection of korean SC2 and to promote chinese talents at the same time.

So cool to see this! No more SC2 downtime :D More fuel for the addiction

Most of these teams are strong enough to beat Rex+1

Heck yes!
Is Newbie an option for the team in my signature? If so I'm gonna switch to them.
Jin Air Green Wings is so stacked in comparison to the other teams though haha. Oh well, they earned it by sticking around this long. This looks amazing!

Really hope one of the teams can make some kind of agreement with Splyce or Chivo to get their players to participate too. That would be amazing.

The best of two format is really weird. Otherwise shaping to be pretty cool

It would be a lot more convenient if TL hosted it like back in the day.

WC3 is bigger then SC2 in china. But we already have 5 new chinese teams, which is nice! It's possible that some teams will join for later seasons, if the tournament does well.

Your players get points when they are picked to play (1pt.), win a map (1pt.), win an ace map (2pts.) and lose 1 point, if they lose a map. Your team gets 2 points for winning a match before the ace map, and 1 if they win the ace map.
|
Thank you and sorry. I need to clarify what I meant. I meant
What do the points do. Team score's are for overall ranking I guess and player scores for forming teams? Or also for an indiviudal league ranking?
What's the purpose of the anti-team picked by each player?
What does the cost of your team must not exceed 27 points total do. Is it applied after every match? Could you be kicked out if you have too many points?
Why do some players already have points? Did I miss something?
|
Team points + player points - anti-team points = your score.
The points your anti-team makes are substracted from the points your team make.
Every player/team has a value, the value of a player is not his points, but a preset value. This is how much a player costs to buy. So it's constant over the time. The 27 valuepoints are your budget for "buying" players and a team.
Correct me, if I did a mistake.
|
