With Reynors skills I'm sure he'll find a new team pretty fast, exeed were lucky to have him. Good luck!

I'd love to know more about this. Reynor might be the best free agent prospect possible. This is great.

I mean there aren't any real teams anymore, so his age isn't very significant for an org I think. Not like they are going to sign a 5 year contract either.
Banned for saying "zerg players are by far the biggest whiners in sc2 history" despite the fact that this forum is full of such posts about Terrans. Foreigner Elitists in control!

Here are some beautiful real teams for you to explore:
(Wiki)Team Liquid
(Wiki)Team QLASH
(Wiki)ROOT Gaming
(Wiki)Infinity Gaming
(Wiki)PSISTORM Gaming
(Wiki)Scythe Esports
(Wiki)Exeed Esports
(Wiki)Iron Chain
(Wiki)Cascade
(Wiki)Team Revolution
(Wiki)Invictus Gaming

And those are only the bigger ones.

And I didn't mention the teams consisting of only one or two, sometimes even three players of which some could very well sign Reynor (Such as Ting, TitanEx, Newbee, Asterion, ArmaTeam, O'Gaming, Splyce, The Gosu Crew...).
Furthermore, I consider that some kind of Code A must be reestablished.

Maybe this is equivalent to Reynor getting grounded for off-race cannon-rushing his little brother .

If ever there was a player for Team Liquid to sign, Reynor is it. This kid might be the next Taeja.

You seem to be ignorant, because organizations like Ting or O'Gaming are no real teams but more personal sponsorships.. there are indeed very few real teams these days.. sadly a team leagues were never really promoted in SC2.

Good luck to him with the future

Speaking of Reynor, does he stream or play online events sometimes? I'm a big fan since WCS Montreal and I haven't been able to catch up to him recently

Reynor rarely streams, but he played in online tournaments very often, until the WCS Global Finals at least... Recently he's not on the radars very much, but it's off-season for everybody, I guess

Yea, he is great talent and I can see TL picking him. I'm not a SC2 fan, but I still like watching Serral and Reynor games

btw. Wasn't Exeed esports his fathers team ?

Yeah, this is exactly why I didn't include those orgs in my actual list of 11 real teams which I really wouldn't call "very few".

Xiaose just said in his stream that a Chinese organization signed Reynor, but he haven't said which one.

He said that they were quite successful in drawing the attention of Chinese esports organizations back to SC2, Because SC2 pros have surprisingly large fanbase considering it is a so-called deadgame. so they are much better value (lower salary and don't need to take care of a whole team) comparing with the big esports like lol, dota, CS, or pubg etc. TIME's top 4 finish in WCS helps them alot.

He also said that if there are enough teams and players next year, they are planning to run a team league like SPL.
As the result, Chinese organizations are going to recruit some foreign player in the near future, just like Scarlett joining newbee.

I mean, Reynor is a HUGE pickup for any team. I expect a whole lot of interest in him. This could be interesting.

I mean, the definition of team has to be a little stretched here. Usually I'd consider it only a team if they practice together in a teamhouse and compete in teamleagues.
Since there aren't really any teamleagues and teamhouses don't make sense in the current environment I'd consider most of those "teams" just sponsorships. Yes some organizations sponsor multiple players but that doesn't really make it a team.

Well, according to this definition we hardly ever had any team outside of Korea, with EG being the only exception.
I think a team is naturally not as much tied together in a 1v1-game. But there are team aspects nonetheless. Players of the same team will be more likely to support each other in training, will discuss meta more intense than with other players and will think together about preparation for important matches. And if they are on an offline event together they'll probably give each other advice and moral support and stuff. It's probably more like tour de france or national teams in olympic games: without a team it would be a lot harder to perform well but in the end every participant is on their own.
Furthermore, I consider that some kind of Code A must be reestablished.

Team Liquid, Root Gaming, Psistorm Gaming, Myinsanity, Acer all at one point fit this definition of a team.

ENCE could sign him and possibly have the 2 best players in the WCS Circuit. Reynor could also possibly get acquired for a bargain for them. 4 straight WCS Team-Kill finals in the works maybe?

If he has Finnish passport sure.

What sponsors do these teams have that want to sell stuff outside of China? They want me to watch Huya TV or some shit?

Chinese teams has pretty nice sponsors, they have sick dota/lol teams with great fanbase, for example, newbee is also sponsored by monster energy, intel and sennheiser, just like any other western teams.
On the other hand, they are not really selling anything to western audience, the Chinese market itself is sufficient enough. As Xiaose said, SC2 pros has decent fanbase but relatively low cost, which make them a good bargain in promoting the organization.

Could be great but TL has not recruited since 2016 except Taeja come back.
I love Marc, Dario, Grzegorz, Bunny miss me a lot but I don't see TL increase its roster, even less with a big fish like Reynor.
Remember Taeja is the new TL star

Perhaps he signed up with a Chinese team, but my bet would be he signed up with Qlash, which makes most sense.

QLash doesn't need more Zerg. Teamliquid does need a new Zerg, but I don't know if they really want to expand their roster

I in no way want to sound like a dick, but is there any reason why the chinese pro scene as always been pretty bad?
They have a pretty big fan base, a bigger national scene then most (everyone?) and a pretty good tradition of RTS with WC3, yet with the exception of Jim and maybe Time they never had a top foreign player yet alone a top world class player.

ENCE signs finnish players.
