O'Gaming TV is proud to announce having signed INnoVation as their official player!
We have been looking to sign a player as part of our "Road to Poutre" ("Road to Rock" could be an accurate translation), our subgoal system. Signing a player was our 2400 Subs goal, which was reached earlier this year.
After having started reaching out to some players, we saw Nation Wars V as the perfect occasion to reach out to some more players, INnoVation being our main interest because of the particular relationship our viewers have with INnoVation. He showed interest, and discussions continued in the following weeks.
Negotiations concluded successfully on Tuesday, May 22, with the contract having been signed by both parties. The contract will end after BlizzCon 2018. We are currently finalizing the design of the official jersey that INnoVation will be wearing in the near future.
We are very excited to see INnoVation play under our colors, first during GSL 2018 S2 - RO16 Group B which will be held this Saturday in Korea, and broadcasted in French on our WebTV the same day, starting 8pm CEST.
This is basically the same as what Ballistic did to Inno, soO and Dark at BlizzCon 2017. Practically an advertising sponsorship. It is gonna end after BC 2018 in case no one notices that sentence.

Like Ting for Neeb, you mean, since this is for way longer than just two weeks of Blizzcon.
And it's standard practice for contracts to be for a certain time, always has been. Team contracts are renewed (or not) depending on whether both parties think it's still worth it, and whether they manage to negotiate new terms. Not saying that OG_Inno is guaranteed to last longer, but there's no reason to think that's it's guaranteed to end after Blizzcon 2018 either.

Yah Ting for Neeb. I didn't mean it in a negative way BTW. It is all good for Innovation and OGaming but I just wanted to clarify that is not one of gaming team sponsorships like DeadPixels or ROOT.

Exactly, we would be delighted if we could work out something longer

In sc2 is there much difference between an actual team or just sponsorship?

Isn't that what all teams are these days except Jin air? An advertising sponsorship?
