VSL is back at it again!

And this time, they're here to deliver even more.

Individual League Information:
Registration: 02/20 - 02/26
Register at: playxp.com
Eligibility: Masters League and up for current ladder season. (Age 12+ only)
Qualifiers: 03/08
Duration: 03/16 - 04/20
Format:
Ro16 Group Stage: Bo3 Dual Tournament
Ro8 and onward: Bo5 Single Elimination

Team League Information:
The Top 16 players from the individual league will be eligible to participate
The Top 4 players are given draft powers
Draf will be snake format
4 players per team
Maximum number of teams: 4
Format:
Ro4 Dual Tournament
Bo7 All-kill

Prize Pool: (Total ₩15,000,000)
Individual League:
1st - ₩5,000,000
2nd - ₩3,000,000
3rd/4th - ₩1,000,000

Team League:
1st - ₩2,000,000
2nd - ₩1,500,000
3rd - ₩1,000,000
4th - ₩500,000

Cmon do proleague format :/ Allkill format seems to be the more popular format in general i guess :/

Obviously i am happy that we have more sc2 content though, that's always nice! Still

16 individual players that will undergo a draft

Can anyone explain what that means? Does it mean that the teams will be picked instead of signed up like last time?

You'd have to think so. Top 4 in individual start picking their teams. Interesting way of doing it.

The afreeca team match (bw) did it the same way. I am not the biggest fan because it usually means that we get unbalanced teams. But hey who knows

I liked the friend teams because you could see the interactions between players but it's always interesting to try different format. We will see.

Anyone knows how to approach tournament organizers in order to talk about potential [community] broadcasts? My best guess is press at playxp.com, but that email is probably VSL-irrelevant.

I'm so excited for this. Team leagues are always great, even tho I hope that we have more teams for this but something is still better than nothing. I hope the teams will be original and not just the 16 players in the main bracket

Hopefully there will be an English cast, but I'm looking forward to it either way. Also I prefer all-kill to proleague format, especially when you don't have massive rosters.

Now we just need a SPOTV announcement :D

Team leagues are always super fun to watch. Looking forward to this one!
Really hope the big names will join different teams and make it a somewhat balanced league.

iirc the qualifier date is moved to the 10th of March because of schedule conflict with SSL
