The man, the myth, the voice. TotalBiscuit has had a long history with StarCraft II and has made his mark in its history by being a major contributor to the community. He’s hosted, casted, and funded his own tournaments, owned his own StarCraft II team, and now will be immortalized in the game itself.
Coming in Patch 3.10, the Cynical Brit will bestow his bellowing tenor into the ears, and hearts, of StarCraft II players. If you’ve ever wanted John to be your personal coach and caster, the TotalBiscuit announcer is what you’ve been waiting for.
Audio samples can be heard at the official page here
We’re so excited to launch our first ever Announcer staring a prominent community influencer, that we’re also launching a contest and giving away five free announcer packs.
Since this is all about John’s baritone vocals, we thought the contest should be as well. We want you to give us your best TotalBiscuit impression, upload it to the social media platform of your choice (Youtube, Twitter, etc) and email us the link. We’ll check them out and select our favorite 5 winners who will receive their own TB Announcer in StarCraft II.
Here’s some things to keep in mind to maximize your chances of winning:
- Besides his accent, there is much to emulate when doing an impression: gestures, mannerisms, props, do whatever you can to put yourself in the shoes of John.
- Make sure your privacy settings allow us to view your video. We can’t judge what we can’t see!
- Make your video isn’t too long. A minute should be enough to show us your stuff.
- One submission per person.
Submissions will be accepted starting today! You have one week to practice and deliver your own rendition of this gaming icon. We’ll stop accepting submissions on Thursday, January 26. Check out the official rules here.

Now we're talking!
Can't wait for the ToD - "look at the supply!"

This is great and the little teases we got are pretty awesome. It's also nice that TB is the first personality which got a voice pack, he really deserves it. I wonder what they still have in store for us

I'm really interested in seeing how, and if, they're gonna do TB in other languages. Either:
1) No other languages, and TB is English only. 2) TB had to read lines in many languages, wich may be hilarious. 3) They just put a random guy that can do a brithis accent for each of the other languages.
I really hope number 3 is not the case. As much I like having SC2 in my languages, having a fake TB read in Spanish would not be cool.

I'm insta buying this! + Show Spoiler +even if I'm not playing anymore, I need it. Don't judge.

There simply is only one version of TB while there are quite a few for ingame characters. Number two would be pretty funny though :D

Did I say that right?". And he can mispronounce it as much as he wants to.

WOW That is awesome! Can't think of anyone who deserves it more! :D

Korean ones doing it in english and korean <3 I simply want more good stuff tbh, also skins, give me cool skins

Cant wait for Day9 saying "probes and pylons" or "scvs and supply depots" when you get supply blocked. that and "what did we learn?"

This is so great !
What a great idea to do this !

I would love an inControl/TLO version as well:
inControl: "You are supply blocked" TLO: "Actually you have been supply blocked for 17 seconds."

YES! I so want Tastosis as announcers!
In the meanwhile I will spend my money on TB voice pack. And I even have most in-game sounds off :D But I need it anyway!

I love TB and appreciate all his videos... but Tastosis, the Casting Archon should have been first
|
|
So basically I have to film myself saying something with a brittish accent while wearing a top-hat (for authenticity)

If they wanted to be first they should have written it, pitched it, set the precedent, negotiated the deals and contracts and opened the doors for 3rd party announcer packs. They didnt, I did.
People don't get things just handed to them. They get what they go out and earn.

Excellent ! I can't wait to have this announcer to "send my army to its death" and when the poor zergling dying will ask why on his last breath I could answer "TB told me to do so".

The lines are really funny. Wish I could play SC II, this would be an instant buy for me as I really like his voice. And as someone said here they should make Day9 next. "Probes and Pylons" and "what did we learn?" would be hilarious.

Uh, I dunno man!

Gee, each time I try to get away from SC2 something pulls me back.
OK, just logged into BN, bought the Nova missions, Carbot stuff, and Terran-related announcer packs.
Now waiting for TB announcer pack.
I guess I can watch some VODs for the current meta, play it for a few more months and quit - only then they will probably bring out the Rotti pack or skins, or make mech viable and I will have to come back again.
Shame that there will be no Day9 or Husky packs.
|
OMG. I watched the "I suck at Starcraft 2" back then. Now I can hear him while playing myself.
This is unreal.
|
Really cool! Now waiting for Tastosis, David Kim & Nightend !
|
this TB pack is so great, but sometimes I just wish he would stfu for a second or two I don't know why, maybe it's the non stop bitching, but I seem to pay more attention to upgrades and bases.
I think we need an A**lo pack (even a partial would do), I'd love to hear some quotes when I build a swarm host or when my nydus pops out.
