Hello, everyone! I entered the Recruit Training Center at the 6th Infantry Division on Nov 21, and have finished my training as of Dec 28. My conscription was very abrupt, and I'm sorry that I couldn't inform you sooner. Currently I have entered the 3rd Transport Training Group to begin two weeks of further training as army driver, and will receive my final posting after my training is complete.
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone who has cheered for me over the years. The support and love from fans mean a lot to us professional players. Please continue supporting the remaining SC2 players in 2017 as well!
Polt, Taeja, Bomber, and even T.O.P in BIGBANG all going to military next year. Guess it's good time to play other games for now and come back even stronger in 2018/2019.

At least Taeja and MMA (even MC) retired with a well deserved one last performance... Not so much for players like Polt, Bomber, Hydra... they just went into oblivion. I guess not many players could get a retirement ceremony like Flash.
Bomber was easily one of my favourite Korean pros. Even if it was already public that he was retiring, the final blow here still stings. Hope he can do well in his future!
Will miss you Bomber, stay safe and good luck with training! If they're smart they'll just give him control of the military and say, "Tell us what to do."

So thankful that this guy honored SC2 with his presence. For me he was kind of the only SC2 player who was able to match the aura of Boxer. Playing anachronistic, walking his own way, being able to perform for such a long time, giving all that experience to younger generations of players, being somewhat worldly wise - he really stood out.
Do we have a thread that lists when players will finish their military service? That might be interesting.

Yeah GOM uploaded the VODs to Youtube. It's a pain to find the right ones because they are all titled "- Starcraft 2".
