Ex-SKT are best ex-KT
Yeoksam-dong emerged triumphant in their thrilling 4-3 win over No Toss this morning.
More flowers for INnoVation
 INnoVation and  Armani gave us a fine introduction to the day in one of the best TvZs of the year; a lengthy muta-ling-bane vs bio tank war that hearkened back to the matchup's glory days. The ex-Samsung zerg's use of baneling landmines was particularly impressive, but INnoVation's eventual macro steamroll was too powerful to stop once 3-3 arrived.
Next up for No Toss was Forte, and after such a tantalisingly promising set 1, Lerilak Crest proved to be a much harsher environment. INnoVation stomped the MVP terran, dissecting him with his initial push without much effort.
Then, things got interesting. Dark's ZvT follow-up was a pure callback to his ZvT last year, skipping over mutalisks for a corruptor / ling / bane composition, and a couple of heavy baneling connections turned the tides his way.  Classic was next to step up for Yeoksam-dong. He pulled out all the tricks, opting for a highly technical double warp prism harassment tactic off a double oracle opener. Archons and immortals were dropped at one base; zealots warped in at another; and a sentry immortal push completed the collection at a third. Unfortunately, the lack of damage from the initial oracles allowed Dark to mass enough of a defence to hold Classic off on all fronts; he might have lost a base, but the following ling / bane / hydra counter proved impossible to hold.
2-2 then, with two of Yeoksam-dong's strongest players down. We said before that a clean sweep from Dark was No Toss' best chance of a win, and he looked to be delivering against his old teammates. Then, soO stepped up to remind us that he used to be the finest zerg on the planet, slapping Dark down on Frozen Temple. Early ling harass put him in the ascendency; an excellent hold of the following roach counter put Yeoksam-dong on match point.
It wouldn't be a soO finals without some heart palpitations though, and Dream stepped up to give No Toss one last bite at the cherry. His liberator-powered 4M gameplan was otherwise straight out of his 2015 TvZ playbook, giving us a much needed reminder of the power he possesses when he's playing at his best.
Then, MyuNgSiK reminded us of the inconsistency which has plagued the terran's game all year long. A stasis ward caught half of Dream's marine push, and MyuNgSiK's phoenixes and glaive adepts did the rest. Mass adepts spent the next ten minutes gleefully ransacking the terran bases as Dream attempted to staunch the flow, but the writing was on the wall.

With that win, Yeoksam-dong are the inaugural VSL Team League Champions! It's been a great mini-tournament, and with so few games to catch up on, it's been worth a watch. Youtube VODs are available (Day 1 & Day 2), while twitch vods for the Finals are here (or I guess wait a bit for youtube). Hopefully there's more to come in 2017!

One of the best TvZs of the year? I mean it was a really good game, but it was basically a throw by Armani.

All i can think about is how dopey the sars mask guy is and how he's ruining the whole photoshoot with that crap. I don't understand why he wasn't ridiculed into submission and good mental health.

I unfortunately didn't get to watch the entire series but man what I'd call it is an exciting back and forth game. Both players were doing good and for once it wasn't a case of "Player X made a mistake at 5:20 and Player Y never made a mistake so at 12:00 player X quit".
I love a back and forth match.

After reading your post all I can think about is how ignorant some people are and how they're ruining other people's lives with their crap.
That guy probably caught a cold or something and is wearing the mask to avoid infecting other people attending the event.
