How do you feel about becoming GSL Champion?
I am absolutely ecstatic about defeating the Ace player from the best team in front of the biggest crowd at the best stage of them all.
Both of you went for it right from the start but you lost.
I am the type of player that warms up after the first game. But i was pretty angry when i lost with a build that i was confident of winning with. It made me very nervous. Overall though, i played well in the finals.
Most of your strategies were quite aggresive.
I felt that i could not let sOs take the initiative in the games. After watching the vods of players that lost to sOs, i think they played too safe. Playing sOs, you really have to go at him.
How did you prepare for the finals.
Myungsik and Super and many other people really helped me a lot. Even Classic who just came back from Hongkong and many others. Because of them i was able to win.
Evaluate your own performance for the finals.
I think i played to my fullest ability on New Gettysburg. In general, i gave my all and pushed to my limits.
What is the biggest difficulty for a teamless player?
I am a very self-conscious player so it's not really a bad thing to be without a team. Some players would play Overwatch or LOL when they go home. I would never do that.
You are able to go to Blizzcon to take part in the WCS global playoffs.
It feels good to gurantee a spot at Blizzcon. sOs still has a chance so i hope we can both make it to Blizzcon.
What will happen if you can get a sponsor?
There will be problems no matter what team I join. First of all I still have a dog at home and my fan meetings are often 2 hours or more. If i join a team, it might be impossible to do both.
If i get any offers, these are all things to consider. If there are any fans here today that express the wish, tomorrow i will be going to the SSL finals and we can continue our fan meeting. (laughs)
How do you plan on spending the prize money?
Mostly on food. Recently i have been organizing some events on social media to repay my fans so i would need to spend some money to buy gifts for everyone.
A word to Innovation.
I wore his badge to the finals today and i even use his image as the banner. All these gave me a lot of strength and i was able to become the champion because of it so i am delighted.
Any other words to say?
Many fans came down today and they cheered very loudly, i am grateful for it. I hope there will be many fans coming down for the SSL finals tomorrow as well. I want to wish everyone a Happy Chusok (Korean Thanksgiving or Mid-Autumn Festival)
I had a lot of things that i want to say but i can't remember now... Ah yes, before the finals started, Maru said he knew all the strategies i was going to use. I have something to say to him.
I am the Hyung(Big Brother). He wasn't able to win GSL but i did. (Laughs)

In all seriousness, I noticed some contradiction. He told in the fan interview that "I got several offers, including foreign teams and personal sponsorship." and he says here, " If i join a team, [...] If i get any offers, [...]". Maybe it's because the translation?
Anyhow, he's awesome for letting fans gather around him and even preparing presents for them (!!)

2. Practice result was 65-5 and the 5 defeats were all from Myungsik.
3. On the first map, the build was actually better for him, but he lost because he was too nervous. He was also very nervous on the last map.
4. He was very satisfied with the viking micro on the second map.
5. He almost lost himself after the lose on the first map, but he saw the Innovation banner, and made up his mind.
6. The only player that beats Byun is Innovation.
7. When SoS and he took the Tazza shoot, they apologized to each other, and as Byun was a very big fan of the movie, he even made some changes to the script with his ideas.

Sounds awfully like Flash's TvP practice. Hopefully it works out better for Byun.

Were the 65-5 from all of his practice partners? (Neeb, Jim, Super, etc) or just Myungsik?
Either way wtf, really nice of them to keep playing in spite of getting destroyed time and time again.

Well, if he joins a Korean team, it most likely means moving to the teamhouse and not every team can/want to have a pet (either because of conditions or maybe someone's allergic etc.). I know that Samsung has at least one dog but in the same time you don't know how the animals would react to each other.
The fanmeetings part is about that he likes long fanmeetings and the teams usually have a set schedule. I think that should be easier to negotiate though.
Also guys, I keep telling you that puppy Ren is his coach. I wonder what would be the reactions if he wanted to take it to BlizzCon.
