Q. First, I want to know how you feel. This is your first winning

A. I considered myself a failure, because it's been five years and I have nothing since my debut, though I think I did my best. However, now I got it and it`s so happy to be compensated for my efforts.

Q. When was the hardest time in your career?

A. I'd say last year, because my performance was terrible though I was quite experienced. However, with all the supports form my teammates and coaches, I could make a comeback.

Q. You cried after Set 7. How did you feel?

A. I thought all the rough times I had. That brought me to tears.

Q. You cheesed in the last set. Was there any particular reason?

A. It was 3:3, so I thought that my opponent would be nervous. Hence I already made up my mind to cheese. I tried to play a cat and mouse game; I was a bit lucky, because it was diagonal position and Dark's scout was delayed.

Q. Did you feel confident before the finals?

A. I immersed myself in games except during meals. I was kinda proud of my preparation, though I somewhat concerned about my skills. Fortunately, I won because I prepared well.

Q. You lost Set 6. It seemed quite nervous.

A. Stork came to me and said "Be yourself." That eased my mind.

Q. Now you`re facing Cross-finals. This is your first time against sOs.

A. Glad that I play against Protoss. I somewhat worried about Corss-finals, becuase I would face Byun if I won the second place. I bet I can handle Protoss.

Q. How did you prepare this finals?

A. Byul helped me a lot. And I prepared with some Chinese players in order to play against various types. I played 70 games per day in a week.

Q. Any words?

I want to thank my teammates and coaches for their support. And special thanks to Byul, Losira, IA and TooDming for being my practice partner. Lastly, I'd say "cheer up" to the players who are in tough situation, just like me.

Is it just me or 10 games per day don't sound like that much for a korean practicing a final?
I guess they usually practice longer but he spent more time watching vods/replays and preparing strategies?

"I considered myself a failure", that's how much 3 dreamhacks are worth in the eye of a korean :D

oh I mistranslated; 70 games per day in a week.

p.s. Koreans only count GSL, SSL, OSL and Blizzcon. People do not count WCS season final or Cross-final, DH, IEM and other short-term tourneys no matter how big the prize is. We call it "second-tier tournaments."

70 games a day... is that even possible?

But yeah the only reason koreans are better than foreigners is their infrustructure not that they practice more

If anything that means if every foreigner practiced as much, koreans would be the foreigners right? right?

Koreans will be like "why is Taeja so high on that greatest player list"

Thanks for the translation!
