There is absolutely no reason afreeca should sponsor sc2. They need to do like 30% for bw and 70% for LoL. SC2 is dead game in korea. Actually the CEO of AfreecaTV was also the CEO of WeMade during their time in eSports, so it's not his first time throwing a lot of support for something like this. Also, if I had to imagine, the plethora of Blizzard ads is likely an effort between two companies trying to work together. The transition from BW to SC2 in Korea was not good and I would even say some users felt betrayed. Blizzard likely wants to rebuild a bridge with these users, even if it means supporting both BW and SC2. I really believe that if Blizzard actively supports BW, it will mean a lot to those that had a falling out with them over the transition. | ||
