Yes but not all of them are free agents. Since there were no official written announcements about some of the players having joined Chinese teams, under GSL they're listed as teamless/free agents.

Wow, Polt and Hydra are both on the list. If they're challenging for Code A, does that mean they are planning to be in Korea for a while? If so, does that mean their U.S. visa statuses have changed?

In WCS details: "Participants may only travel for non-competitive reasons 5 weeks per WCS competitive year outside of their WCS region" so i have no fucking idea how are they supposed to be playing in WCS and GSL

Of course it's offline, it said so in the announcement thread that you commented in <.<
With this lineup all the big names should make it to Code A imo.

This obviously will be a 90 man round robin
with each match bo7
your average lotv BO7 takes less time than hots BO5 did

wait why is CJ_herO and MyuNgSIK in this list? aren't they already qualified straight to Code S already? also yessss BossToss is in the list, I want to see if he can qualify for the Code A just to piss other progamers off

This list is just a list of players who signed up. The sign-up ended before Myungsik won his Code S seed in Pre-Season so he signed up pre-emptively. (no idea about herO though, maybe KeSPA teams just sign up in bulks?)

Guess they'll drop out idk. Feels weird if 2 people get a free pass
Wait why is MC playing it? Didnt he retire? If he is trying to qualify, its for me not retiring. If he tries to qualify to SSL and GSL, why would he call himself as retired? Or did he mention his comeback?

He's "retired"/Stephano retired, not completely retired

Though he said that he`ll apply for GSL while streaming, but I do not think he`ll do it actually. (even if he does, it`s for fun sure)

That would be interesting. I can't recall anything like this happening before. The closest I can't think of is GGanDoL getting into Code A after 3 byes and defeating Cella.
Found the groups in OP. No upsets so far unless you count MC, but super had to be the fav IMO. Good to see KeeN beating up on Armani, but soO put a stop to that as expected.
Is it top 3 of each group that advance? Or just top 2?
