Huh why all the Chinese players are in Germany this time?

Because the finals in Krakow are not long after the EU groups and it was easier to get them a EU visa that lasts a couple of weeks.

Huh when did they announce the finals location? Must missed it.

ToD's camera is his own.
Former ESL League Operations. I ran IEM/WCS for like 3 years or something. I did map vetos on a tablet. That guy.

I can't see an actual GoD tbh. I mean no group has more than two players that we expect to get out over someone else?

C if I had to choose.

As a TLO fan i'm not happy about this group at all!!!
Ofcourse Xigua is a good draw, but Violet is just one of these korean pro's who is a level above TLO and Mana is protoss (which is for TLO reason enough to lose), and even good vs.z...

You must be kidding me. Apart from the customary Liquid Team Kill, i will definitely not put Violet above TLO.

If you have been watching WCS this year, Violet has not shown any form at all, losing to foreigners left and right. So unless this season is going to be a breakout performance for Violet, i really fancy TLO's chances in this group.

good point, and it's right that violet is no top 30 player right now, but nevertheless i think violet is still better than TLO in zvz now (for example the Aligulac stats: Violet-1917 ,TLO-1740. Ofcourse Aligulacstats are not super acurate, but more than 150 points difference means there is atleast a difference at all).
But i hope either i'm wrong, or TLO gets a bit lucky an manages to win the series...

btw:
I know it's the anonymity of the internet, but why do you have to react to a normal post of a stranger with "you must be kidding me."? Would you ever talk like this to a stranger in real?!?

TLO's and violet's ZvZs are even since january - both ~61% winrate. TLO had more success in important matches so far and especially offline. Also his showing against Losira and True at Asus Rog was quite convinving. So I'd favor TLO over violet but violet is definetely a dangerous player.
Furthermore, I consider that some kind of Code A must be reestablished.

Against what opponents? This is the important factor. Even I have 85% winrate in ZvZ against my platinum friend and I dont even play zerg

You got to be good when it counts and that is a skill too!

That being said, I watched Firecake vs Zanster yesterday and that was for sure interesting. Firecake having won the challenger against Zanster the season before 3-1 and now Zanster 3-0 Firecake. Proper preparation + daily form certainly goes into the equation.
