JCG: The start of IEM Shenzhen is finally approaching. We're here at the airport, so can you tell us how you feel right now?
Vais: I was really looking forward to participating in IEM, so I'm very excited right now.
JCG: They announced who you will be playing against. How confident are you?
Vais: The very first opponent I face is a tremendously skilled player, so I wonder what kind of amazing games he will unfold in front of my eyes... (laugh)
JCG: What is the thing you want to do the most at IEM right now?
Vais: This is my first time ever attending a tournament of this caliber, so I'd really like to feel the atmosphere of a big international tournament.
JCG: Finally, a message to the people cheering for you.
Vais: I have a formidable opponent from the very first round, but I hope to do my best so that I can be as tenacious and aggressive as I possibly can.
While I'm at it, I'm going to translate a different interview from several days ago as well.

JCG: IEM is fast approaching. They're announcing more and more players that are attending. What's going through your mind right now?
Vais: This is the first time I'm participating in a tournament of this size so I'm slightly nervous. But, I'm looking forward to attending very much, as the event hosts the top players from all over the world.
JCG: At present, who are the players you want to be matched up against the most?
Vais: I'd really like to play the three Korean players that won the Asian qualifiers.
JCG: You lost in the semifinals for JCG SC2 Master Class. Do you have anything you regret from those matches?
Vais: CrIMsoN always torments me. My weak point is definitely the late game, so I'd like to practice a lot more to fix that...
JCG: Are you doing anything special to prepare for IEM? Are you worried?
Vais: I'm not doing anything special in preparation. As for worries... I have absolutely no knowledge of any language other than Japanese, so I'm hoping that I don't see any troubles on the linguistic front.
JCG: FInally, a message to the people cheering for you.
Vais: I'll do my best so that they will stream my match!
