There was another 5 post account that kept making excuses every time TaeJa won a map against Scarlett, stuff like "Map is imbalanced" or "hellbats", it was pretty funny. Taeja won fair and square, the timing is deadly and he used it well, no argument from me. Overall their record in tournament as a whole was 4-3 in his favour, which I think is pretty damn decent against a monster like Taeja.

Edit: Erh, minus the whole GSL title thing Life is just 2 titles away and he has won GSL and Blizzard Cup. He may have something to say about it. Obviously he is less frequent player outside korea but then again - it can be said about most of the players on korean teams, as everyone is involved in Proleague.
That's true. In the heat of posting I put Taeja as quickly becoming the greatest, but that will only be in the number of titles won. Actually declaring someone the best will be scrutinized to the fullest as things like GSL titles come into play... I was speaking more to the fact that I think Taeja will win a lot more tournaments that anyone else. As you mentioned, a lot of the players listed have team events in Korea.

well he'll win a few more each summer at the very least. And he was the original team league beast

Maybe at some point a new build can come out and people can be given a chance to learn how to deal with it before the community screams about how OP it is.

like many others.
nothing wrong with easy money. on that thought DH and TaKe should just pay it forward. Just put TL on it and ship it out. hohoho.

That was so much fun to watch! Big congrats Taeja well played!

Is there a place to watch replays of these matches just the games without the commentary?
|
Hardly fair to invite Taeja lol. He doesn't drink and he's playing vs everyone else who are super hungover and sleep deprived by the last day
|
Why would you shit on a 5 post account who is just posting his thoughts? He didn't even explicitly say that Taeja wasn't top 20.

It was a good LiquidStoryCup

More like Liquid owns Europe. Screw the Union. Let Liquid deal it.

Grats to Taeja and just a completely well run and incredibly fun event. The Rotterdam soundboard was my personal highlight of the event, although getting to hear NightEnd's voice is pretty rewarding in its own right.

What about interviews? Was there no Richard Lewis, Hotbid or anybody doing interviews or did I miss them?
