Having HS on it's own stream would make it easier for me and I'm guessing most SC fans who have no interest in HS. Undecided if I'd watch another one of these live. I had to wait and wonder when the SC content would be on.

I personally like watching sc2 but not too much in a row. Hearthstone was always a nice change of pace. Also it is a great way to bring the communities together and maybe bring some people into the game. The WC3 showmatch was just a great idea because you could literally feel and share the fun they had doing it. It was perfect for the "we do it for our fun and just added cameras" atmosphere of HSC/SSC´s.

"But MasterOfPuppets, why don't they just have a separate area for the two games? X Premier tournament does that all the time!" Because you can't compare a tournament that rents a large venue to a tournament hosted inside an apartment. A very well refitted apartment, for event-hosting purposes, but an apartment nevertheless. So I'd assume separating the two tournaments in that fashion would have been rather hard logistically, without having one game take the spotlight all the time and the other feel tacked-on as a B-stream of sorts. I know this is what a lot of insecure SC2 fans would like, but fortunately the TaKe crew has decided for the better to give both games equal exposure, equal attention, equal prize money and put equal amounts of effort in both, and I feel like they've done a phenomenal job of it, to be honest. Would certainly watch similar events in the future from that standpoint, and the WC3 showmatches were just the icing on the cake. I just wish TaKe had more time to spare casting himself. :<
