In LoL you can´t really define yourself with mechanics at high level, because everyone just plays close to the max there. You simply don´t see much differences in pure mechanics between pro players. The most important things in LoL are team coordination, knowledge of matchups and decision making/judgement of situations. Most of the game is decided by which team makes the smarter decisions in their rotations, what objectives they take and when they take them and team compositions. While switching SC2 pros might be able to match the mechanics of the top players in a very short amount of time, the other important things still take a lot of time and effort to learn. And if we are honest: Marineking was never known for his smart decision making and judgement of ingame situations. SC2 is way better suited for him, where he can mechanically outplay his opponents, so he is fine with having rather mediocre decision making. So this might be the best for him to stay in esports.

Hopefully they can shake off the rust and be at top form quickly. I haven't heard much about SC, Coca and Puzzle since they came back, so it would be interesting to see if MKP and Byun are able to get some decent tournament results despite their little vacation.
