Look at how many resets happened during WoL Beta. Even then, ladder means nothing. If you're good, you'll be good. If you're bad, you'll be bad. That's just life. Ladder is just a means to practice and get better, there are professional gamers who can reach #1 Grandmasters but can't come close to winning Code S. | ||

When you go to your profile and go to where it says "You can view your ladder account here" It shows a server error. Don't think this has been mentioned yet. I know this is first day of release but it looks awesome so far! Can't wait for it to be fully up and running! Good job guys! | ||

win 7 german 64 bit - eros window is neither in the taskbar nor in the notification area (bottom right behind the little triangle, where you also find windows update, java update, etc.) - deleting a profile crashes the program if and only if there is only one profile present. Probably index out of range mistake or similar. - pressing the "Battle.net Account" button does nothing | ||

It seems a mod like this can do a lot for Starcrafts popularity, which could be great for them. But I don't have high hopes in Blizzard supporting it. Like Dota. Blizzard could easily have had that game, instead they just ignored it and hoped it would go away. Then it grow bigger than WC3 and eventually became it's own game, and Blizzard lost it. They say they love modders, they even go out of their way in creating an editor that makes modding possible. But when eventually someone makes a great mod they tend to just ignore it, it seems they are not really capable in dealing with outsiders making great new games in their engine, or improving Blizzards own games. | ||

They did say that they all are playing it and are having a ton of fun, but that they don't think it will make difference and that they can't implement changes from Starbow to the SC2 because Starbow is just a mod, it was something along those lines. After all, you are still playing Starbow in SC2, so technically you are still playing SC2. They are more than happy to have more people online and since I don't think Starbow can be compared to the SC2 in terms of tournaments and how much money can you get from it, I guess that SC2 pro scene will stay where it is. And don't compare it to DotA, IceFrog came to Blizzard to make DotA 2 with them but they had rejected him as far as I know, so they basically shoot themselves in the foot. | ||

Interpreting this, I assume blizzard will be fine with the custom ladder but I can also see upcoming issues and would not be surprised if they forbid the custom ladder. | ||
