And there's more than just StarCraft to be found at Blizzcon. Networking opportunities and a chance to maybe break into the pro Hearthstone scene.
Plus repping the sponsors and being good ambassadors of eSports.

They're both at the Blizzard Irvine Campus in California atm according to the OP, so they both got flown out for Blizzcon at the very least.
I guess the consolation prize for the loser is the free flight + Blizzcon admission (I assume they'll grant them admission, lol).
