Rotterdam / Bitter & Tastless derail the commentary into trivial non-starcraft related fluff far too often for my liking. Shocker :- When I watch SC2 I like to hear about SC2, not what flavor of cola Artosis likes the most.. (you reading this Tasteless?). LiquidRet made some excellent points about casters in a Meta with Artosis, Harstem & TLO about a month ago.. IF ONLY casters would watch that episode.... Also I feel a lot of casters are let down by their knowledge of the game - if you cast or plan to cast - surely you have to play random to get a balanced and deeper understanding of the game? I believe Apollo does that (or at least play one race each day in rotation). Perhaps an exception to test my own rule is Tod, he's Protoss focused yet I find his casts interesting and informative while still being fun to watch. The current batch of casters could (mostly) Do with a kick up the butt or just plain shipped out of there. And get some fresh blood in. I enjoyed Idra's casts in the ROG series during summer, would like to see him cast more - though I guess now he's back on a team it'd be less likely? +100 points for SC2 casts being about SC2 with knowledgeable informative enjoyable casting, not random bull**** . | ||
