My rebuttal will be this one : Production quality and entertainment.
I don't think anyone is bashing EU in general, only commenting that the playing field seems a bit weaker than NA.

Oh well, maybe WCS will be better next year.
Honestly I'd much rather see more koreans join EU (yo blizzard fix your fucking netcode so they don't have the ping issues anymore, when we used a global server in beta it was possible to play koreans from eu just fine, so maybe just rerouting games with a ping above 150 or smth to a global server would be a solution) so I have a reason to watch. As it is the high amount of foreigners (which usually equals a lower level of play) has me only tuning in from the ro8 onwards. I really think it's super racist to prefer foreigners over koreans even though there level of play is so much lower, especially since it seems to be literally only because they are white and speak decent english.

Yeah Europe WCS are unique and that's what makes them so successful (100k for last season finals,GSL/OSL and NASL can't do better ),we don't need no sub-korean competition again (not saying we don't need some koreans to spice it up,just saying that the actual balance is perfect )
What would be great on the other hand is the actual set of player distribution+ a few Africans and middle easterners to EU (just like 2 or 3 ),and this would be sick as fuck.
I believe cArn represented morrocco at a WGC some time ago,and he could have the level for challenger league, PandaTank could be another african representative too.
regarding middle east its gonna be a little harder,i've met a few masters in dubai/doha and most of them were foreigners that work here anyways :D

Pathetic groups to be honest, but if they were able to beat all the big name good players in the tournament they can't be all that bad.

This really should be the season of MMA

WCS KR numbers don't include Gomplayer + Kr streams + TV (for OSL). Basically all we have is foreigner views for WCS KR, and none of the KR viewer numbers.

The pro-foreign agenda by most of foreign news writers refuse to acknowledge any statistics that goes against their beliefs. It is very akin to Christians with creationists theories.

Group B is the group of death? Hardly...
All these groups seem pretty straightforward on who is going to make it out (although EU seems to always have some of the best upsets :D )
GLHF to the players, should be some GGs!

How do they choose these groups? Seems rigged to have 4 groups with exactly 2 toss 1 zerg 1 terran.
Anyways...gogogo MC time to reclaim presidency from these upstarts.

Perfectly balanced Koreans, races. Pretty fortuitous for us, the groups should be pretty close

Anyways...gogogo MC time to reclaim presidency from these upstarts. 2 1st place finishers + 2 2nd place finishers from the ro32 groups, anyone who played against each other in the ro32 cannot be placed into the same group as the other in the ro16. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong on any of this.

My rebuttal will be this one : Production quality and entertainment. This. Remember how much bitching and crying there was in the two first seasons? "WCS NA doesn't support the growth of NA scene" or "Koreans shouldn't be allowed to play outside their own region" etc etc. Then when some people figured out that the majority of Season 2 finals players was from the NA WCS, then all the sudden BOOM "NA is the (second) strongest scene, Europe needs to step up". What a wierd mentality switch all the sudden huh... I don't know if it's hillarious or just really sad. I dared not say it when it was a hot topic at the begining of WCS 2013, but personally i loved how all three regions had alot of strong players, regardless of what nationality they were from. Better players = Better Games = Better tournaments = Better Esports for everyone. It's hilarious. And I dont understand how this is weaker than last season? Less fan favorites, more skill?

oooo Nerchio ForGG and 2 protoss in one group. that's going to be juicy.
gotta say I think this is Vortix's season as long as he doesn't meet up with say, MMA, in the knockout stages. definitely think he'll make a top4 run.

Just because steak is better quality food than cheese fries doesn't mean I have to like it more.
