I recently discovered this parody by Hatorade - CLICK ME and I thought Hatorade did an amazing job and wanted to do a cover of it haha.
So without further ado here's the cover! I'm no professional per usual and the mixing is pretty atrocious so any experienced mixers will probably cringe but OHWELLZ SC2 PARODY SONGS YAY YAY AYYYAYAYFAYA!!RIGHT??KFDSJF;

Fuck yea, Smix covers are the boss! I listened to your Call Me Maybe parody on repeat for a full week of starcraft (probably 200 times back to back). Looks like I'll be doing something similar with this.

Instead she just fishing for compliments, and as per usual sc community loves the few girls who do that in the scene. But it was an OK song.

No - I'm serious. If you really understand mixing on a professional level and listened to this you would cringe ;;; I thought of very specific people I know in the starcraft community who have experience producing music on a more professional level and I know they would definitely cringe. My knowledge of mixing is also very amateur but I worked on the different layers to this cover for a few hours before giving up because I had no idea how to make it better even though I could hear areas where transitions weren't seamless and volume level changed too much

I know there are girls like this (and if I were you I wouldn't blame them so quickly, especially if you are a man, unless you want to contribute to the sexism in this community), but Smix has been around for quite some time, has contributed to the community, and is just honest there. She won't say this is an awesome mix if she know that it could be better and if she actually notices little things that lower the quality.
Oh and the bolded part made it truly worse, but I think this is pretty obvious.
