It would be interesting to see how many codes were used through the affiliate site(pizza.gg) in comparison to people just straight up using the code going through Papa John's since they got the code off a deal site. Then you can see how much eSports actually had an effect on this or not. But seriously this could've been the most obscure topic or scene and if it had a "no strings attached" 50% off code with it, it would've spread like wildfire like it did and get used like it did. Just like it's been done thousands of times with similar Papa John's codes on deal sites going back several years.
