Naro Station SE - Map is expanded from 124x124 to 132x132. - and there are so many changes that my Google Translate-powered Korean is not up to it ... so let us all wait patiently for a helpful carbon-based Korean translator to help us out! Thanks GTR!

wow it's starting already!. I'm still crying about FPL result of round 4.

Kind of lame that they removed the 8 yield gas @ main for FS, but I can see how that heavily favors protoss.

SoulKey JangoBango Cure Bogus Storku~~ hard to give this to Mekia, but I'm not a fan for no reason Brown

Is that Samsung Khan_Trend the Shark / Swim guy who qualified to Code A w/o a team but was "in talks"?

So fast! Cool to see they're giving the new maps one more shot, hopefully it will be less Protoss-centric this round. I'm pretty surprised Puzzle gets to play right away, was the Parting roster change delayed because he was part of another team for a long time or something? Nice to see a few fresh faces too, hope they get a chance to play.

No, he's someone else who used to be called Beach (and is still listed as such in TLPD). He's played a few Code A qualifiers, losing to Dark 2-1 in his group's finals of the most recent one.

Parting was delayed because esF had been playing WoL for a lot longer than KeSPA, so he couldn't play until Hots came out
Hots is equal footing for everyone, so Puzzle can play right away

Meh... I really like the winnersleague format, but for EGTL vs STX its... bad for me. I want to see BoguS as much as possible and he has the potential to allkill, but its not like there's no EGTL player that could beat him. I think he's better than all of them and is favorite against every single one, but preperation and a good game can take him down. Maybe he makes a big mistake like against TaeJa.
Still very hard opponent to match
|
I love Innovation starting! Should boost that map score.

Still very hard opponent to match Exactly...I think HerO can take him, and if not JD has strong ZvT. Taeja beat him when last they played so there's another strong option. He's definitely beatable, but he definitely could 4-0 too.

Oh boy its all kill mode again... FPL is gonna be a bit harder to predict now... I'm still rooting for STX,i believe that today their whole team is good so they can stand pretty good in an all kill format.

Brown must be beasting it up in the T1 teamhouse. He's getting played nearly every week.
|
Why does EG-TL still have Stephano, HuK, Spooner & Demu still listed on their line-up when they haven't been on the bench; aren't in the country or not in the house? They do know they can re-list them at the start of every round, right?
It puzzles me because I don't think it's very fair when it comes to picking Fantasy teams. I mean, right at the start of the season we all knew their were certain players you want to avoid because of their schedules flying in and out to events but a lot of these players aren't used so give us a frigging break already and un-list them. Re-list them when you plan on actually using them.
I wonder if they'll even use Snute this round, but I'm glad he stated he really wants to give PL a go.

Dammit, I wish they opened earlier. Now it's gonno be more expensive for me to get INnoVation lol.

Not completely sold on that. Let me explain why. SK did just break his win streak, BUT Bogus will still be ridiculously expensive. I believe he will be worth around 12 points this round. Furthermore, he isn't the obvious first pick to be sent out because their roster is playing relatively well atm. Also, considering + Show Spoiler +he just won the group of death he will be relatively busy. We've seen more teams give leeway to the individual tournaments. Players will have to counter his endless stream of units by going into SaviOr mode. As in cutting off the reinforcements and stalling him.
He looks like a great pick-up on paper, but you might just want to avoid him altogether based on his net worth alone and the fact STX is feeling mightily confident atm. It's a big tradeoff.
|
Lol pig baby is not the most umm, fearsome nickname, but to each his own.
Would be great for EG-TL to start off with a win against Innovation, will start off with some much needed momentum. I believe in you HerO!!
Also maybe its just me and I missed something, but who is trOt on EG-TL? Is that the coach's ID or something if he has one?

It's a shame that EG-TL has such a line-up of unavailable players. No stephano, no thorzain, no demuslim, and Taeja is terribly inconsistent popping in and out with his injuries. They need at least one more reliable good terran, since the true terran count is 1.5(alive, sometimes taeja). Alive is good but they need another star terran.

It's a shame that Suppy won't be in Korea in time to be on the roster

Sadly I don't think anyone except HerO can take Innovation. Unless Taeja shows up out of nowhere and convinces him to throw again. Alive's TvT is great but it's Innovation...

That couldn't be further from the truth. It should be a very close series if HerO wins the first match I should say. Bogus could possibly role over TL-EG, but I don't think that's going to happen either.

Yeah wasn't super serious about it. Though HerO goes on rolllllllllllls after confidence boosts and Innovation would just have to finish the job.
