Hi,
my name is Martin Maindl and my ID is crBox. I've been around for a while but never released any replay pack. Since the game is new and people are still experimenting with new strategies, I thought this was a good time to showcase some of my skills.
I am using Swarm Hosts into Corruptors in ZvP,
ZvZ is all muta,
ZvT I mainly use Roach/Hydra into Viper but I've been opening a more Ling/Roach/Bane composition these days, switching into hydra once I have a better economy.
I do stream from time to time. You should definitely watch my FPVODs

can you please for the love of Jasus help me in ZvP, i tried what you did vs desrow, corruptor and swarm host, but it just didn't work for me, i am a diamond zerg

I will be uploading some more replays in this thread every now and then. I'll add some practice games from today (lots of lost vs T) in the OP in a few, stay alert!

I think vs Desrow was SH. Not running into a lot of protosses for now on the ladder, maybe more luck tomorrow, I'll upload those asap.
I renamed the replay files inside the .rar, the pack is very light (approx. 604KB).

Just updated the OP with another replay pack and stream link. I've been using muta more in ZvP (either straight to muta or Hydra into muta if they open phoenix.)

Any other styles in ZvZ? They really buffed Mutas in HotS...
Also, you need perfect aim for fungal growth...

Unfortunately ZvZ is all muta/ling from what I've seen. Maybe some other timings are possible but unless you have one base up and already defended on the muta player, it's really hard to make hydra work even with fungals.

So really muta/ling is just the more solid composition in ZvZ right now? I've been winning some games here and there with roach ling bane attacks (all-inish I guess). The meta-game in Masters isn't all muta/ling from what I've seen but if that's the case in GM then I might make the switch... I'm just afraid of Muta/ling vs Muta/ling, seems really silly lol.

humm well before the spire is out everything is possible, I mean you can go for roach bane bust. Thing is if it gets scouted, the muta player can just make 8 spines and wait for mutas to come and then you're pretty much fucked.
Muta ling vs muta ling is fun for me, but if you get behind for some reason it's really hard to come back.

can you explain for theory behind ZvT? how do you handle drops with roach hydra? Do you just go for static defense in spines/spores? How is roach/hydra against mmm/widow mines. is it a lot of jousting and picking the perfect engage?

3 hydras 2 roach per med and some static defense is pretty good, the hardest part is straight up engaging the terran. Obviously I meant Roach Hydra / Viper when Hive is done. You need to keep the medivac count low by abducting them and also blinding cloud to force better position. It's really hard to win with it against good terran though so I've been trying more muta ling bane aggressive style

Just did the 3 hatch before pool build vs a terran who 1 rax xcc ( i assume doing this is correct?) and had so much economy that iv never had before! he came in with blue flame ( like 8 of them ) killed EVERY drone but 1 in my third, still had more workers then him lol! 56 to his 40, he came in with helion tanks, i waited on my 1/1 and pushed, took him out with ease. my new favorite build! thanks:D

u have to drone scout and see if they CC before rax. If u scout 15 CC then u do 3 hatch before pool
also, crbox, how do you deal with protoss late game? I played a game where I went swarm host/hydra/roach/ling mid game to take out third but can't engage into protoss' natural. They just turtle til they have a deathball to secure third and go late game comp of VR/archon/colossus
It's probably something to do with my transition and I focused too hard on the midgame comp.

I use F1-5 or 6 depending on map or I just click the minimap

I do SH / Corr heavy. It shouldn't let them go to that air army. It's all about how fast you can get those units to pressure the protoss and make him not take a fourth. You also need to be a little cavalier with your corruptors and stack them (unless there's storm) to one shot VR or Collo. Even if storm is out if you know the range you can still stack and try to one hit VR.
When straight up engage the VRs, try to burn their charge then go in.
Also have like 5 overseers (or more) in your ctrlgrp to be sure it's not worth it to snipe them (as they will lose a lot of dps focusing those in such high numbers)

I increased my zvp to a 5 win strike after seeing this hydra aggression into muta, not that i havent seen it from Life, but to have a reply is really helping the building order.
Literally the only place in the entire world for zerg replays.
