Q: What changes are you thinking about making to the game? A: We wanted to start off this next patch with some groundbreaking changes and real paradigm shifts in gameplay. Players on battlenet were complaining about destructible rocks just kind of "getting in the way" and so we decided to add competitive components around them. Now on all maps, every third base has destructible rocks and the rock is a unit controlled by your opponent. It has a twenty-second duration of an ability called "hardened-rocks" that is castable and will double it's armor. Players can now strategically use this ability which is on a 45 second cooldown to delay their opponent's third base from the safety of their own.

lol the new meta becomes take a hidden third base every game overnight. would be epic for about a day or two

Worst case it will be uploaded by around 1AM tues morning. It's a huge file at 32 mins, which allows for more time/chances to fail.

From what I gathered so far he talks about potential changes to the infestor such as making fungal a projectile, psionic being immune to fungal, removing neural parasite and tweaking infested Terrans. Also ways to make mech more viable in TvP, buffing battle hellions, removing the mothership from competitive play and making it a unit only used by casuals while having the tempest fill that role instead.

Sure, Dustin said after the interview questions we asked were exactly what he wanted to answer and that we did the best interview he's done at the event. More hype!

update: the parting pre-final interview won't be up until I get home because our upload method stopped working (i think the hotel figured out what we were doing)
Really interesting interview with idra, looking forward to the rest, though just a shame your interview was before he got knocked out, would have loved to hear how he felt his games went in general and how he felt about his performance

Find the Alan Dabiri interview kind of funny. While the things he is saying are positive, he makes it sound like things they are doing are ground breaking, while it's more just that Blizzard(or in his case, his bosses) are taking the stick out of their behind.

Not officially, but I caught him at breakfast. He was too tired to give a real interview, so I just had a casual conversation with him about his tournament in Chinese. I told him I interviewed Parting and that he said his pride was hurt after Sen defended his first immortal/sentry all-in. So thus, Parting did two immortal all-ins straight in a row to prove that he could. Sen got a big laugh about this. He said he can defend these all-ins but he messed up his builds a bit and his upgrades finished at 10:30 instead of 10:00. Also, he said Parting's all-ins just come so damn fast...
I also did an unofficial interview with Fenix. I'll write it down here before I forget. Many of you have seen pictures of him in his IM uniform, so he's still obviously on IM. He said he started having wrist problems starting in February and could only play 2 hours a day. Since all the IM players play at least 10 hours a day, he could no longer keep up and moved back home. IM has actually asked him repeatedly to come back to the team house, but he doesn't feel he's ready. He's been quietly recovering and hopes to make a comeback in HotS.
Great interview with Babyknight. Didn't know much about him aside from his play and he seems like a really well-spoken dude that thinks things through.

Because everytime i have a little bit time left in the last 24 hours or so i keep checking if they finally uploaded this "Groundbreaking, paradigm-challenging interview with Dustin Browder" but all i see is that other interviews keep being added instead :-D

You should get VortiX interviewed. His success at the tournament was on an a similar scale the Suppy's - maybe not as big, but still - as he almost took down one of the top two Korean Protosses (also a bro-kill).

Hey, is there a website where we can see VODS of all of these games? I am having trouble viewing the battle.net videos and notice that a lot are missing.

Nono... :-) you understand it completely wrong. Not the rocks arrive at 1AM, it's more like: The rocks will be destroyed at 1AM so we finally have access to the Interview which is hidden behind them.
