Hey guys I missed the first day because I'm from EU and I work in the morning, had to go to bed early. Where can I find the vods for day 1? I really want to see Flash vs Grubby!!!!!

I doubt he would have been the only one, and it's been known before, just look at times how loud or close caster get to players.
A headphone with "magic" white noice simply is not enough.
Most silly thing is when a player tells this to an organisation it's not going to get fixed ? Now that i find the real big deal.
On November 03 2012 20:03 CallahanSC2 wrote: lol @ Ret, still believe the old calories and smoking myth. If u gain weight during smoke quitting its cause you eat more due to it. Period.
No offense, just saying.
Yeah Callahan, one would think that's obvious, but the reason people connect ´quitting smoking´ and gaining weight together is first and foremost because people look at the cigarette(or tobacco in general) as a sacrifice, i.e. you are missing out on something specific (an enjoyment) / you won't be able to enjoy certain social occasions as much in the future. And as long as people do that, they will reward themselves in some way, and that's most easily done through food, and hence, an increase in people's daily calories intake -> gain weight.
Thus, I wouldn't say it is a myth, it is just people's ignorance in general as to how they lose weight and gain it that causes the problem, but in the case of the cigarette, I already wrote a lengthy reply as to suggest an advice to quitting smoking without any regrets or doubts (and thus without any increase in your food intake as you lose any desire for the cigarette). This reply is in Ret's thread where he announces his withdrawal from tobacco and the beginning of a new healthy lifestyle (http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=377560¤tpage=4).
I was hoping he would check it out, or well, anyone for that matter. Because it will benefit absolutely anyone, whether a user or non-user, as it will prevent that person from ever trying out, or using tobacoo again
Holy shit Kennigit looks intimidating. He looks like the kind of guy I wouldn't be surprised to see in a dark alley, twirling a tire iron. Just goes to show that looks are probably one of the most deceiving things around.

Tip for interviewees: Since the interviewer is interviewing you, look at him/her and make eye contact at least once per hour (looking at you Trimaster... :D )

Where are the Australian interviews? This MLG has probably been the best yet. All the players involved are all phenomenal: Former MLG Champions, GSL Code S/A Champions, Kespa (especially Flash), South Americans (which lets be honest here, how often do we see them.), obviously the Australians, and last but not least Scarlet vs Koreans (biggest treat in this MLG).
speaking of players hearing casters. it almost seemed liked naniwa heard something in that last game vs flash. He turned his probe around after the crowd started going crazy when it looked like he missed scouting the 2 rax

yeah that one was pretty obvious, noticed it as well

Grubby is extremely intelligent. Wow. I want him to win everything now. Flash for T, Grubby for P and I'm still on the fence on who is my favorite Zerg (skill aside but also personality and logic).
I just love how Grubby is so passionate about this game. If Flash for me is the consummate professional, Grubby is the ultimate lover of the game.

Ah love me some Grubby interviews, shame he wasn't at his best this tournament but I do think he'll always be there or thereabouts as a threat to anyone (except Stephano obviously)
Incontrol said this is his last competitive tourny, is there a news post or anything elsewhere that officially announces hes switching to full time caster etc?

Last tournament this year. It helps to listen to the sentences in context.

Grubby just has to learn the secret of PartinG's immortals sentry all in and stephano will never beat him again
So what I got from grubbys interview was that blizzard knows infestor brood is really overpowered but isn't going to do anything about in WoL. They are focussing on HOTS (fair enough). Hopefully HOTS will come out relativelly soon because zerg is getting ridiculous these days.
Loved Grubbys interview. He provides some really great insight into the whole KeSPA players forcing people to better themselves and about wives lol. Really smart guy, i hope he can do really well soon.
Great interviews, enjoyed the one with Ganzi as well, his English is pretty solid! Would like to see him make a resurgence, always been a very good player, shame about the wrist issues
I like Major and his approach to the game too, just focus on getting better, Kenningit was blown away by his lack of social media profiles
Did hwanni say that blizzard officially stated they would do more patches for WoL? I would like a scource for that - or alternately being corrected on what he said?
Great job by Kennigit, the interviews are very informative, I loved the ones with Grubby and Hwanni. And I like the new GanZi - I remember him as one of the Slayers Terrans, a poker-faced nerd killer. Now, he's a cool guy with pretty good English. Amazing to see what a foreign team does to you :D.
Incontrol really got into shape! Grubby's interview was awesome. I agree a Scarlett interview would be great, though its sad to see she was knocked out. Thanks Kennigit!
Great interviews, especially when they get weird. Best example being the strange advice-column questions to demuslim.
As per ESWC (and the interview with Incontrol), there seems to be a lot op misinformation. The french commentators where only a factor in matches on the Main stage. Those were very few. ESWC hosts a multitude of tournaments who all get their chance in the spotlight.
To suggest that the french players merely won their matches (which were mainly in group-play) due to information from casters is in other words bullshit. The matches didn't take place on the stage and there were no commentary to help them.
Wow the Ganzi interview was surprisingly entertaining. Respect Kennigit for not making it awkward and respect to Ganzi for having excellent English and confidence.

I have to put the blame on you Incontrol... Congratulations on tying the knot though !
I dont think every EG- player is there as Thorzain said he will be in korea at that time. So Stephano may be at ipl. Dont know how good friends they are with him
Hwanni's interviews warms my heart so much. Him talking about the goodol' times is ten times sexier than Clooney's Dany Ocean speaking of his past with B. Pitt (Can't remember his character name).
On the other hand, I was wondering all along Grubby's interview if he was trolling about women or not.
Nice interviews thanks for that. I somehow think that Grubby will become a politician and turn the world into a better place. By enlightening everyone.

Huk was supposely really angry at himself for losing or something. In one of the interview, it was said that huk didnt take loses too good and was kind of angry and not in the mood of interviews

I heard that, but he got interviewed it is on the Youtube page. It isn't linked in the OP.
