BTW there is not much difference between interview 1 and interview 2 ^^, except the kind of abusing part it was "pretty easy". | ||

The point is that the group known as "foreigners" have certain characteristics, and those were the ones the interviewer was interested in hearing about. Maybe they have a different mentality, maybe they travel a lot, maybe not being able to talk indepth strategies with GSL players affects him, etc. The interviewer could also have asked: How do you prepare against a protoss? How do you prepare against a former code S player? How do you prepare against someone known for relatively strong pvp? How do you prepare against a teamless player? How do you prepare against someone known for X strategy? etc. They all ask "How do you prepare against Naniwa?", but each has a bias towards those aspects highlighted by the group Naniwa is associated to. If you just asked "How do you prepare for Naniwa?", then you could get answers like "PvP is really random in terms of build orders so I just used ladder.", "He has a a lot of experience in GSL, so I tried to be calm", etc. which wouldn't really answer what the interviewer intended. Just looking through the code A interviews the following are other questions asked: - Were you feeling any pressure regarding losing to a KeSPA Terran? - You must have felt a heavy pressure for having to face a OSL champion. - Your first match against a KeSPA player. How was it? - This was your first match against a KeSPA player. Were you feeling any pressure? - How skillful was the KeSPA player? - Your opponent was a newcomer in the GSL. | ||

I digress ... well we generally refer to them as "koreans" and everything is foreigner vs koreans so I think they have picked up on it as well. not something to really complain about at this point although I do dislike labeling either side as well. | ||
