Wrong, Korean BW "elitist" fans need SC2 to become a better game than it currently is.

And I would love Psy to perform at GSL. It's a fun song and would leave the audience in good spirits no matter how the games turn out.

Eulogy, you sound really upset about a lot of things. Maybe just chill out and go about your life. You've said multiple times your arguments, opinionated as they are, are apparently not getting through to anyone.
Regardless of who the artist is, what he did in creating the song, and how "good" it is, it is objectively popular right now both in this community and I assume Korea as well judging by posts in this thread. Therefore it'd be great to have him perform at a GSL event.

How is that making it a joke? -.- Hey buddy, no need to be a giant douche. I was just saying it's not a good song, and I would rather not watch it at GSL. Also, how do you know it's so popluar in Korea? Are you Korean? It just shows how bad music has fallen in the past 10 years. I guess real music is dead. How sad... .....................it is the #1 song in Korea right now, that's a fact, not a theory >.> #1 song in the US is "Call me maybe?" It doesn't mean it's a good song. zzzzzz define good song A song that takes talent to write. Psy probably didn't even write the song. From the description of the 8million video "From 2 years of break, PSY is finally coming back with his 6th album 'PSY6甲'! The album's weighty title song 'Gangnam Style' is composed solely by PSY himself from lyrics to choreography. The song is characterized by its strongly addictive beats and lyrics, and is thus certain to penetrate the foundations of modern philosophy." You said? You just had to keep going didn't you? He didn't do anything other than repeat the same shit over and over and hit buttons on a computer. My god, and the choreography is supposed to matter? I don't watch music, I listen buddy. Mod just ban me, I don't think I can stop myself from arguing with these people. You have horrible self control if you can't stop arguing with people on the internet without being physically unable to due to being banned. I'm sorry, it's my Achilles heel seeing how silly people can be on the internet. Ironic how you are the one being silly no?

Same applied with the song 'Friday'. So we reward bad music by making the makers millionaires? Woah, go planet earth!
Such a sad state of affairs isn't it.

You seem pretty upset about all this. Maybe you should go outside and do something about it. You know. Step away from the keyboard for a while.

Yes.. the world is doomed because bad musicians are getting paid millions -.- Talk about being over dramatic... Yes it's a shitty situation, when entertainers(Good or Bad) are making 10x as much as people saving lives or scientists. But thats not the point of this thread. This thread is about a song that I'd say the large majority of the community likes being played live at GSL. How is this a bad thing for starcraft? The song is hugely popular in Korea and can only give them good attention. Whether the song in your opinion is good or bad is completely irrelevant here.

More media attention = more fans and more opportunities with sponsors = great for the community.
Edit: plus there is no downside, and as I said the majority of the community likes the song. So even if it doesn't help in any other way, people can enjoy listening to a song they like at the finals.

A song that Korean and foreign fans know of and a good majority enjoy?
Would be stupid not to get him if you had the chance. Shit, get him to do the player intros, too.

Okay no that's putting cake icing on your toast in the morning. Way way too much of a good thing, we'll want to kill him after 3 week.
