Since they are mostly foreign to our eastern culture you may not be very aware of how we easterners work out things between people. Since that cultural gap exists I don't think it's proper for the foreigners to comment about things that they aren't familiar with besides the SlayerS pages were never really official to begin with. Correct, East Asian culture vs Western culture is vastly different - what a person that may see as a detail of minor significance due to their western views could be vastly different from those with east asian views.

I think people are just mostly confused about the whole situation. What exactly don't we understand from this cultural gap that removes our ability to form an opinion? If you take a look at the the thread, there's a lot of differing opinions so it seems like you made your statement about someone's post in particular and are being super passive-aggressive about it.

Honestly imo it's not culture but rather her bad english and failure to express opinion properly (like, the word "deceive" is sorta laughable). Besides, there are so many dramas in Korea and isnt Jessica the only one who went apeshit over everything ? e.g Coach Lee didnt twitt in nightmare-mode like her when shit happened lol. Culture is not a valid excuse.

EDIT: on the topic that foreigners shouldn't have an opinion on this, that is a very closed off opinion of how to go about this. Just because cultures are different does not mean that someone has done something wrong and that others can't have an opinion. This is a world site and it allows info to pass between us foreigners and the Koreans/Asia players. Just because cultures are different doesn't mean people are infallible, that is just a strawman argument. The fact is that something happened and though actions are differently perceived in the west, we can still have opinions that we can state. That is the basis of learning societal differences. Being closed off does not help anyone in the slightest.

I don't understand the stupidity being thrown around in this thread...it's pretty simple.

I don't understand the stupidity being thrown around in this thread...it's pretty simple. It's because people don't consider that her English is bad (and for some reason her posts in English sound very dramatic like someone is dying) but the translations i've read of her korean posts seem pretty professional and well put together, so basically people are just freaking out because they don't know what's going on and Jessica's tweets don't help explain the situation at all (people always want details)

Thanks Blasterion, but we westerners have grown accustomed to being able to have opinions.

Culture is not a valid excuse. Truth. She tends to speak passionately, so her words spill out faster than she should. That's my OPINION anyways. Oops, I almost forgot I shouldn't have an opinion.. silly me.

You post was just as stupid as any of the other ones in the thread so I don't see what you're complaining about.

I don't know if the cultures are different but a lot of these issues can be brushed aside without such words like "deceive". Again, I might not understand the entire situation, but SlayerS shouldn't be involved extensively with so many dramatic incidents. And yes, TL should invest in another Terran if a suitable player is available. Well, if you consider how much she has invested into the team, considering that she has her own acting career as well, it should be not too surprising that she is very attached and protective of the team. Sure, sometimes she is very blunt and outspoken, but she means well. As for TL, no I don't think TL should try to capitalize on signing away Slayers players. First off, there is not really any indication of any players leaving, and second, by doing that, it brings up the spector of player-stealing and all that drama, and TL loses its "moral high ground" and its image as the good guys.
