The explanation given by Spunky came a bit later and was added into the OP, so it was a more or less valid concern.

Wish oGs could build their own strong economical base instead of relying on a shady French team that doesn't have a good reputation and neither do they have any sponsors (from looking at their website), which makes them even more shady. Where comes from the shades you see in them, apart from your own decision? What bad reputation they carry? It is not even like, in the case that partnership comes to an end, like most of them will eventually do, that's going to cost oGs anything, and that it didn't bring them anything good while it was running. For the mere curiosity, since you chose to look only from oGs point of vue, whereas both sign the same sheet of paper, did you feel that empathic towards IM when they backed out of their engagements with Quantic Gaming? I kind of did, IM case is even a better example. They had four of the best players in Korea on their roster (MVP, Nestea, Losira and Happy), they could've easily built a strong trademark on their own without Quantics help and built a strong economic base (which they eventually realised).
I'd think anybody would say that the QIM agreement helped Quantics trademark far more than it helped IM's trademark, so besides from the money Nestea and MVP won under that short time it didn't really help IMs trademark that much really. Luckily IM coach was smart and pulled out of that deal and realised that this is not the way to build a strong trademark, and now they've started doing the IM shows with Hwanni and have more coming up!
Thing is during a deal like this, it usually make it a lot harder to gain sponsors (due to the fact that new sponsorships might hurt the sponsors that are involved in the deal, i.e. Since razer are sponsoring this deal it is pretty much crossed of the list that oGs will be able to sign deals with mouse/keyboard producers, and since Razer are moving in to producing laptops this year it might even hurt sponsorships from that end).
When an agreement like this ends oGs will be back on square one and will be having the same troubles sending their players to events, and due to that we might just see more players leaving the team to have financial stability and being able to travel to events (The MC case for example).
eSahara has in the past months showed on several ocassions that their management cannot act professionally, now when oGs are affiliated with them future events will also hurt the oGs trademark/reputation.

Wow... eSahara must have some serious investor money or something, they're making huge moves this year!

So what will happen in the GSTL then? That is still unclear. And Spunky's reply was added later.

TL is sponsored by Razer too right? So why isn't TL added to this Trifecta?
|
If eSahara players are gonna stay at the oGs house, I feel sorry for carn.

This is really bizarre, but congrats to all parties involved!

Congratz, eSahara is here to stay, hopefully the partnership will last for a long time.
It's a terran party!

On February 03 2012 21:24 Spunky wrote:Hi guys, I am the head manager of oGs Spunky, it seems we missed a few points in this article and let me clear things up: oGs relationship is not going to change with TL. To make things simple: oGs and TL are more like family, we can't even really call each other business partners. I love all the players on the team and have great relations with Nazgul. Currently we are sharing this home out of neutrual benefits through practice for players and TL always supports and helps our oGs players. So, nothing is changing! Our partnership with eSahara is more like what we had with sk-gaming during 2011. Although our business partnership did end a way I did not want it to towards the end with sk-gaming, we are looking to have a successful year with eSahara where both parties can benefit lots. I love eSahara's CEO Ryad, very cool guy, and I hope all of you look forward to what our partnership can show through out 2012 for the improvement of both teams! I'm looking forward to it so all of you guys should as well I always thank everyone for cheering for our team, I know oGs has not been dominating as badly as we did early 2011 but I can tell you guys for sure - we are prepared to dominate all during 2012 with support from eSahara and TL! Interesting...
Also this is the first statement i've seen from anyone oGs about the MC transfer and they don't seem to happy about that.

You guys are way to pessimistic. As far as I can tell, esahara is a great team and Ogs needs sponsors to send out players and if this can provide it so be it. Ogs and tL are like family so there is no reason to believe they would kick jinro out so everything seems great to me. Gl to everyone involved

How about you read the whole thing yourself and realize the post was edited with spunky's response, a full page after people asked what would happen?
