If you want to earn money with tournaments this certainly is not the one ![](/mirror/smilies/wink.gif) And what is fair about splitting minimal amount into even more minimal parts of six winners? o_O with that little money there is no problem if 'winner takes it all'.. it's just symbolic anyway. It's pretty fair - the best player on the day gets the reward. As you already said it's not that much so can you imagine how pointless it would be handing out smaller amounts across more people? It kind of counters your argument in the first place ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif) This is meant to be for fun, the money is just an added extra to add a little bit more of a competitive edge! And to all the new players - Welcome and hope to see you all around the SC2Improve Channel soon! ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
It is pretty fair, but wouldn't it be funner if players finishing in fourth-sixth could afford to buy two gumballs?
Are there still 25 cent gumball machines? I don't think they've been adjusted for infaltion in quite some time. I'd think soon it would be 25 cent + 10 cent or something.
So yeah 1 or 2 gumballs.

Who cares about a gum all? Fairest if the person who plays best actually has something notable rather than coppers. Doubt any of us die hard sc2improvers care about the money at all anyway, I know I don't, I'd donate it to charity.

Been vaguely aware of this group for a while but never really thought about this... I wonder how similar this is to the clans (not teams, but sometimes they create teams... I think) in Korea. Well whatever it's cool as hell. Perhaps at some point in the future I can get my time organised around a decent amount of SC2 -sometimes after D3 release probably >_<- I'll join up, it sounds great. Or hell, maybe just lurking and doing some obsing on the quiet instead of watching GSL.

Fuck that, go out and buy something random and awesome. Like a rum and coke at lunch time on a Tuesday or a hologram of a unicorn. LIVING THE DREEEM!

I've been using this group for a while now. First as a warmup because of a longer break, and then for focused PvZ practice. It's full of friendly and helpful people, if you want to improve, it's a good move.
If you can catch me on there, I'll be more than willing to help with anything toss related. danakaz.102 And I know there are both terrans and zergs willing to help as well.

When you said hologram of a unicorn I lost it. Although I don't think $5 would be enough for that!
Also great to see you find the group useful danakaz !

Very true - we are working on creating some content for master level players. The higher in masters you are maybe the less you will find this useful for yourself, but always a good place to work on your off-race or just enjoy discussion/help out ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
Welcome to the new people!

Also currently in the process of setting up a larger summer tournament and other summer projects for the group! Come and check us out

ooh.. do you have members/players in KR too? i'd like to play in EU but the latency is terrible from over here. i play in KR mainly, i also play in SEA and NA but i have the best connection to KR from here. this group looks promising
|
Currently we're only EU however over the Summer we might be expanding to NA. If we do expand it would be to NA before others and it'd be quite a big thing (as currently I run everything) and so a KR/SEA group will probably not be up for a while.

This sounds cool I'm in.
